Our last stop after a nice journey in South Africa ended with a four night stay in this lovely boutique hotel. After a small hick up regarding room allocation everything went super smooth. The superb hospitality presented by Gift and his colleagues makes this hotel a winner in Cape Town.

Very nice boutique hotel where we felt very comfortable with our two daughters (1 year and 6 years). We were greeted very lovingly and friendly and immediately felt at home. All the staff were friendly and very accommodating. The rooms are a bit outdated, but that didn't bother us. The location is fantastic.

Lovely hotel, food was good but what made it special was the staff . Gift, doud mauti and shadrake (apologies for spelling!) were all exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and for our first visit to South Africa we couldn’t have asked for more.

We loved this place and the lovely people! We had a food poisoning on our second day from a day trip and had to stay in our room for a whole day. People in the Hotel cared of us and recovered us quickly with soup, bread and water! So we enjoyed also under sick conditions. :-) Thank you dear Gift and Team!!!

One of the most loving hotels we’ve ever been to. We got food poising while eating out of town & everyone took such good care of us. They brought us lots of water, ran to the supermarket to make us fresh soup & helped us with everything & so much more. Besides that the hotel has the best food & the most prettiest room. They make sure to take care of every possible desire you have.

The hotel is in a suburban setting a few streets back from the ocean front at Seapoint. It has a lovely tiered garden with two pools and plenty of loungers/beds. We were very warmly welcomed by Gift and other members of the team, who made our stay so pleasant and relaxing. Our room was large, light & airy and stylishly furnished, and overlooked the road below and the ocean behind several buildings. Breakfasts were very good with a fulsome buffet and cooked dishes made to order. The team were always on hand to help with questions, and they made our stay extra special.

Amazing place in South Africa. Highly recommended to visit. Good weather, friendly staff, very clean rooms. Service 5 Stars. Very closed to all interesting places in Cape Town. Walking distance to beach or restaurants. Breakfast really well presented. Available lunch and some snacks.

Wow. What more can we say. The location was just perfect! As soon as you enter the Clarendon from the busy streets, you feel like you’ve arrived at an oasis , surrounded by peace and calm. With the view of Lions Head right there, what more can you ask for. We loved how close it is to Main Street Seapoint (shops and restaurants), and to local beaches too. The staff are truly incredible people. A big thanks to them at making our stay extra special!! The food, whether it was breakfast or a snack at the poolside, was delicious all round. Tea time was the best time. The cakes were to die for! Thank you for your hospitality Nicci and Staff ! My family and I cannot wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Clarendon Fresnaye. The location is very good/central; nearby beaches, Waterfront and Camps Bay. Our daughters loved the two pools. Due to the fact that it is a boutique hotel you get full attention. The staff knows you by name and really do everything for you to make your stay memorable. Mr Gift and Daud (and all others which I don't remember the names of) were fantastic, always happy and made us feel more than welcome. There is nothing they won't do for you! The breakfast was delicious, nice and quiet. If we would go back to Cape town, we would definitely stay here again. It is a beautiful intimate place in the middle of a crowded town.
