On the Sea Point side of Cape Town with a fairly stiff ten minute walk up from the ocean is this wonderful villa. The rooms are spectacular, large and with large and comfortable beds. The pool was welcome and the views from the upper floor or from the pool deck are spectacular. The kitchen is available at all times with snacks, fruit, coffee , tea and an honour bar (fridge with cold drinks) The breakfast area is lovely and the staff were all very helpful. The hospitality intern from Germany is enthusiastic and Theo always very helpful. Laundry service available and advice on restaurants and tours welcome. Thank you, all of you for a lovely stay.

Nice hotel with great location and friendly and helpful staff. 5 minute walk to the beach. Generally safe area which is very important considering country specifics. Rooms are spacious. The ones with see view are very good. The only issue I had was it was very cold inside:) There was heater available but the room was too big to be warmed up.

Though we encountered several hours of flight delays, we were greeted warmly upon our late arrival at Walden Suites. We had reserved two of the smaller rooms and were told that two suites were available if we preferred. Since we were staying four nights, we appreciated the extra living space and the upgrade pricing was quite reasonable! We loved the location, the views, and the access to the dining area and kitchen. The balcony seating was most enjoyable in the evening. Breakfast was delicious and the staff attentive and helpful in sharing local information and arranging transport to the airport. We loved the stylish beauty of this old villa!

We spent 10 glorious days in April 2019 at the Walden Suites. The accommodation was very comfortable, the folks at hand were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were fresh and tastefully done. The setting was perfect. At night time when we came back after a long day of touring - the kitchen was open to make coffee or tea, cookies on hand. I truly believe that The Walden made a significant contribution to the success of our stay in C.T. And btw - it is conveniently located just 15 minutes from the V&A Waterfront. I went hiking up the mountain one morning and it took me just 20 minutes to get to the other side of Cape Town. I enjoy running in the morning - I was a 5 min car ride from the beach front in Sea Point where you could have an hour's plus run next to the sea.
