The hotel was originally called the hotel industry, but has a new name in connection with ownership in 2006. Smalltown is derived from Gantriis' comic "Life in Smalltown." The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself could do with a little TLC ! The rooms very basic, but if you just need a bed for the night it is fine. Very central for a visit to Lemvig. Just a short walk from the center.

Topped with excellent parking, this saves it for me. I had a room without a desk, which is hopeless on a business trip. It's worn, but clean. Quiet area, but close to everything. Breakfast was on the plus-side.

In the little town of Lemvig in the Western part of Jutland - a nice old hotel - brought back memories from my childhood! Pleade just watch the price that they will charge you even you book on line as in my case they charged me Danish Kroner 200 more than what I booked a double room for using KIWI.COM. What a sad way to be cheated and then when it happens this way and in your home town!!!

I arrived thinking I had a reservation for a family room for my wife and kids but turned out I myself by accident had cancelled it - stupid me. The person on call was though very friendly and helped me get two rooms next to each other and with a good rate. Very much appreciated. We were in town for one night for an event downtown in Lemvig and for that the hotel has an excellent location. It’s literally a 1-2 minute walk to the center and harbor. One minus though is that we were there in July which means you get very little real night and thus a lot of light. Their curtains doesn’t keep much if any lights out so we had to be inventive to cover up the windows with other fabric to ensure our kids wouldn’t wake up at 4 am ;) But otherwise good hotel and is as advertised. Breskfsst was Nice too.…

One of the few hotels in the town, this was a pleasant stay. The hotel is run by a couple and there is a certain "quirkiness" to it. When we first arrived around 4:30pm there was no one to book us in, so we went into town for a coffee for an hour. On return I was just about to try to call a phone number on the door when the owner arrived. Things picked up well from there. Price is reasonable and the room was very comfortable. There are parts of the hotel where the decor and furnishings could be improved, but the main dining room is very pleasant. The pedestrian town centre is just 2min down the road where you can find good food and drink. We would happily stay again.
