VALLEY BUSHVELD COUNTRY LODGE is an owner managed upmarket four star Guest Lodge (B&B) close to Addo Elephant National Park in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. The Eastern Cape is called 'Naturally South Africa's Best' with a million hectare of malaria-free, big 5 game viewing, fantastic beauty and endless beaches. The Lodge is situated on a private game reserve which boasts over 17 species of wild game animals and antelope. Our beautiful lodge overlooks a valley and rocky cliffs - an exquisite, once in a lifetime scenery. Bright orange sunsets add to the romance. In the distance if you should want to explore the valley, you will discover a little river, natural rock face and a natural unharmed environment with its own wildlife. Spoil yourself in the while sipping on South African champagne and fine wines. The view from the is out of this world and you have the chance to spot wild antelope. We offer safari tours to Addo and open vehicle tours to view the giraffes close.

We slept here for one night. We were welcomed by friendly Giraffe. We ordered supper at the lodge. The food was very tasty and well presented. Breakfast had hot and cold food enough for hungry teen boys. The Lodge Manager was very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. This Lodge is outside PE and offers day trips to Addo Elephant Park. We would like to have spend more nights here. A lovely restful lodge. Worth your money.

We had an amazing stay in this lodge. At new years evening they made a typical braai with very good wine! We danced the sokkie en drinked fonkelwijn! All the other meals where also amazing and cery tasteful! We loved the hospitality of the people, they help you with everything. The walkings over the property were amazing with the zebra’s, giraffes, wildebeest, nyala etc. There are a lot of animals! We would love to come back!

We stayed here for three nights, the reception area which encompassed game trophies on the walls were certainly of great interest.....the breakfasts were suitable for all tastes..The room we had was adequate but a little cramped but not a problem even though basic.....a typical lodge type accommodation. Several species of game were wandering around the estate with the highlight of 8 giraffes which was a great treat......Overall a lovely stay and certainly without hesitation stay here again....we highly recommend. Only one issue in that the drive to the lodge through the grounds due care needs to be taken as road in places was extremely bumpy and a couple of speed bumps scrapped the bottom of the car being a Ford Focus.....no I was not going to fast.....

We booked an overnight stay for one night. We thought the lodge was amazing. Nico was so friendly and helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The food was lovely too as we had an evening meal there. The breakfast was very tasty. Wish we had booked to stay longer than just the one night. The room was beautifully decorated and we had a restful night's sleep. There is a small fridge in the room which is useful. I would love to return and spend more time at this lodge in the future.

Great stay we had for 2 nights in a super nice decorated, clean room. In the evening the animals were just in front of our dorm. Really great! Breakfast was served while fresh fruits and sweets were ready to be eaten. Absolutely delicious 3 course dinner is also available, we had even Kudu. It was so nice! The manager gave us a map where to see most animals in Addo, all best secrets he revealed. Thank you for making our holiday even more perfect.
