Once again, our stay with Anne has been excellent; superb breakfast, everything home made or home cured. Wonderful ambience as usual. We now have 8 loyalty points - only 2 to go before a free night in this remarkable B&B which we will pick up up shortly.

Is there anything, that Anne, the owner of this lovely B&B, can't do? We felt throughly spoilt by her delicious cooking - an amazing breakfast with everything homemade, from the sausages and home-cured bacon to the bread and preserves, which only just left room that evening for a restaurant-level dinner with first class local ingredients. On top of that Anne creates fabulous glassware and is an accomplished scuba diver - not to mention a delightful and modest host who made us feel very welcome in her home. We were a group of 4 who had the very comfortable, tastefully decorated and spotless cottage to ourselves. The tallest amongst us had to duck under the beams but we couldn't have been better looked after, with everything we could want anticipated and provided.

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 night stay at Pen y Bwych. What a find! From the moment we arrived the service we received, the all round ambience, food, location etc...all more than surpassed our high expectations. Can't praise Anne highly enough for having created such a gorgeous haven, a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life! The food was excellent - prepared by Anne with such obvious care and pride. Could eulogise in profusion about the various dishes and ingredients used. Suffice to say we will be rebooking imminently for a return trip!! Should also point out that our 6 year old dog Mabel was also welcomed warmly.

My wife and I come to Pen-Y-Bwlch at least once a year but most times twice. We come for the weekend and enjoy heading out to discover different parts of the penninsula, beaches and coastal walks etc. We are always made to feel so welcome and we love everything about the place. Anne is a fantastic cook so we always make sure that we stay for evening meals and the breakfasts are superb too, with locally sourced ingredients and mostly home made breads, cheeses, cereals, marmalades, biscuits, etc etc. Anne has also made sure that the decor and furnishings are top quality and always spotlessly clean.

Room Tip: We prefer the attick room because it's quirky and light, but either room is good!

We spent 5 days at Ben-y-Bwich and could not have been better looked after. The cooking is truly of a 5* quality with an astonishing range being provided over the length of our stay including different and imaginative home made breakfasts everyday. The packed lunches, teas and home made preserves are all delicious as well. Everything is so well presented and comfortable this must be the best place to stay on the Llyn peninsula. T,S and Bendigo
