Ok, let me be as realistic as possible about this lovely tent camping site without being distracted because of the beautiful sea views that you couldn't probably find elsewhere. The great: The views, the owner (lovely people) The not so great: The distance from your tent to toilet block, washing facilities require a rain weather cover. 15 minute drive to the nearest town, pub and restaurant. All fairness, the owner actually does describe that on his site and is very honest about his disruption of the site. But In my humble opinion I would (if it was my site) invest in a toilet block further down the field on the tent field nearer the main gate. I would also provide some sort of roof cover over the washing area for when your brushing your teeth in the morning. I would also let cars on the field to off load and load. I would also get rid of the press button showers. I would invest in neither hand dryers are hand drying facilities. Sorry for being such a moaner here, but this site has far to much potential that can not be ignored. Over all: beautiful. Warm welcoming stay at a lovely site. Thank you, we will return, but hoping that you will do something about are recommendations.

We've just spent the most amazing week making memories at Treheli Farm. We stayed in one of the Stargazers and experienced the worst camping weather with storms, torrential rain and 50-60mph winds. However, that didn't really matter because the location is epic in any weather and the level of service and care we got from the owners was top notch. Upon arrival, a very well mannered young man Morgan kindly assisted us with our gear to the tent, and over the course of our stay he was always helpful, polite and provided first class customer service. Mark his dad should be very proud. Sadly the bad weather presented Mark and his team with some difficult challenges and whilst we were lucky in our location on the site, and prepared for the weather, other campers on the site did not fare so well in the gale force winds. We witnessed first hand how the Treheli Farm team worked tirelessly through the night to safeguard the guests. The weather was completely extreme. We really felt sorry for Mark, the main campsite was left decimated by the storm and he was left with no choice but to cancel and refund upcoming bookings. Such a shame, but Mark certainly came across as someone who cared, that put the safety and comfort of his customers above expected revenue. Treheli Farm is in such a unique location, and we know that in better weather it would have been even more amazing. However, the location is only a part of what makes this campsite special... The father and son team that run the place make up the rest!

My wife and I have just visited Treheli farm in one of their stargazer Tipees. The location was great, with fabulous views over the bay and only 15 minutes from Abersoch. When we arrived Morgan was there to great us and helped us with our things. (Once we arrived we realised how ill equipped we were) Morgan helped us with everything we needed and could not have been kinder and more hospitable! Thank you for a wonderful stay. This is a fairly new site, however already you can see that in a few years this is going to be such a popular place as they keep investing on making it fabulous. Well done to this father and son team! You have something really fabulous and we wish you all the best.

From the minute we arrived we knew we had made the best decision. On arrival Mark met us to check in ... he showed us to our bell tent and introduced us to Treheli Farm life ... we were in awe straight away ... and then there was the view .... no words can describe it. Our first night was a very stormy one ... the bell tent held its own - warm all night - totally safe - we were amazed as 43 tents had been destroyed we found out in the morning. The rest was bliss ... we even booked another night ... The facilities were constantly clean ... showers hot .... toilets immaculate.... hand sanitizers in all areas .... recycling facilities... drinking water... BBQ and fire pit provided too ( logs provided every evening ) Mark and his son were the best hosts ! We will be returning 100%

Will admit first night we hot hit by a storm, but we were prepared. Tent stayed up and the rest of break was lush. Very chilled, relaxed, we never get for electric hook ups and none are here, so do note. All staff were very approachable and helpful. Facilities (shower/toilets/washing up sinks) were faultless. The area is one of beauty (great cycling). Everything was that good we paid for an extra night. Will deffo be back
