To be fair: I stayed here for sandbox. Having said that. Out of 150 rooms, I was the only guest. It had an Overlook Mountain hotel from the Shining aura. The hotel has the long corridor hallways to have a kid ride a toy 3 wheeler around. Anyway, the manager and staff went out of their for me to enjoy my stay, I was able to WhatsApp breakfast, lunch. And dinner. All of which were delicious. The rooms are clean. The bathroom has barn-doors that can open into the Room; leaving a crack that exposes the toilet, I ducked tape it, no problem. I absolutely recommend this place for families and couples. They are cautious when it comes to visitors to room. The beach is right in front of hotel. Kata Villa restaurant is right next door and has endured the lockdown: and feed all the tourists in Karon. I would definitely return to this hotel.…
Stayed for one week beginning of February Great hotel with lots of good extras such as giant towels for the sun beds changed every day and different towels for the beach placed in your room clean every day in a beach bag. Full size good quality toiletries in bathroom. Flip flops and dressing gowns. Lovely big room overlooking the pool. Great air con and a ceiling fan so you had a choice. Great choice of food at breakfast. All staff lovely with big smiles and helpful. Restaurants just outside hotel to the left very good or walk further to the right for more choice. Food in hotel good too. Could not fault it was a lovely stay. Thank you to everyone
Needed a break and me time. Hotel is in a quiet location, back from the main drag, but close enough to walk there in 2 minutes. Staff were friendly enough. Room was clean, but dated, wardrobe stuck, but that's the only gripe there.Cant complain about the breakfast, but if you are looking for a full on real western one, dont bother. Thai dishes (rices, noodles etc), but there was bacon, omelette/fried eggs tomatoes, fruit.Only had 1 dinner there in 5 nights, but found more value in exploring the local restaurants. Enjoyed relaxing by the pool with a beer and book, but had to find someone for the pool bar, but you can take your own drinks down. Did not partake in the cocktail happy hour. I'm an Aussie and in my time did not understand one word from anyone in my stay except staff (just), so if you are looking for a conversion in English, this may not be the place. Predominately European, Japanese and Russian guests, but as i said, i was looking for me time and got it, Peace and quiet…
Very nice room, large in size, good bed and weekly pest control. The staff is very helpful and friendly, however not all the staff members possesses the same level of understanding of the English language. The breakfast was nice, a lot of variety. A good mix between European and Thai cuisine. However, the pancakes and waffles are overcooked and very dry. This meant that they were actually practically uneatable as they did not taste very nice. The rest of the food was very nice though. Especially the omelette a-la-minute is a nice touch. The coffee in the machine is mediocre when you want black, but was nice for cappuccino's. The downside of this hotel is in our opinion the location, as you will need a taxi (which is quite expensive in Thai standards) to reach any of the tourist hotspots such as patong beach with the infamous bangla road or central phuket.…
This our second time to this hotel,we love its position so quiet at night for a good nights sleep, the breakfast has a vast choice for all taste, the rooms are very big, beds are very comfortable, rooms are always clean, you are very close to the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants with in a short distance, the staff I always found very polite and nothing was to much trouble,as I see on most trip advisor reviews someone will always moan about something,me and my wife went there to celebrate my 60th birthday, the staff came to the room with a cake and sang happy birthday, all of the staff at this hotel work very hard to maintain the standards I would expect, they are the most friendly people I have ever meet and certainly would go back again,
