We have never had a more personal, more exciting adventure then this trip! From the moment we arrived we were extremely well cared for and experienced a completely personalized experience, NOT a group tour!!! We were able to choose which activities to participate in and how adventurous we wanted to be. We followed most of the suggestions they provided but also added a shopping trip and zip lining over the waterfalls. I cannot express enough how much we LOVED our trip. The food was AMAZING!! I was so worried about getting sick with new foods and never once had any issues. We loved every meal! We ate family style which was so personal sharing stories over glasses of wine. This family is so unique and special that we now consider ourselves members of their family and cannot wait

I wish to thank you personally, on behalf of my husband and I, for our wonderful trip to South Africa, Chobe River and Victoria Falls. We had an absolutely wonderful time! We have brought back many wonderful memories - your beautiful, comfortable lodge, the scenery, the game, food, wine and beer, the people, and the fishing experience. We now have a realistic picture of South Africa based on an informative fun trip. Your staff at Mafigeni was very welcoming! We enjoyed their youth and professionalism. They took very good care of us! We also enjoyed your volunteer, Amber, who fit right in with the rest of your staff. I would like to emphasize how much we enjoyed Gavin as our guide. He 'made' the trip for us! He was keen to show us as much as he could. He was flexible

I would like to thank you and your fantastic family and other team members for a terrific South African experience! We all agreed that it exceeded our expectations and so much of that had to do with the exceptional job done by Gavin. He was a perfect fit for our group. Outgoing, good sense of humour, loves photography (like my brother in law Joe, so they had a lot in common), loves the outdoors, fishing and hunting (as I do, so we had a lot in common too). He really took care of us and treated us to many South African favourites ..like the Mopani worm, which I am glad is found in SA not Canada!! But we tried it, along with Ostrich, Kudo, Springbok, Impala, Guinea fowl, Wart Hog and the list goes on and of course it includes many fine wines, and SA brandy with coke (a

We felt very welcomed by the team at the lodge. I want to give a special thanks to Amber and Tamsen. Amber was a volunteer, She really made us feel welcomed and was attentive. Tamsen was also great. I did not feel very good one day and Tamsen checked on me a couple times and wanted to do whatever she could for me. Guide: Matt is great! He explained everything we did very well. We did everything we wanted and more. He has a great sense of humor and we really had a blast with him. He took very could care of us and I would highly recommend him to everyone who travels to the lodge. Accommodations: We stayed in small couple unit. We traveled with another couple and would probably recommend a family unit as there are separate bathrooms and bed rooms with additional
