The idea of a communal kitchen is not self catering. The rooms were without the basics of self catering - such as a cutting board, container to use in the micro wave etc. This is not self catering in the true sense of the word. Rooms are overpriced and there is no value for money

Delightful stay, spotlessly clean and lovely gardens. The extras such as shampoo and filter coffee were very much appreciated The hosts were extremely helpful and pleasant. Would recommend to any weary traveller to brighten your day.

Excellent service and facilities. While they don't serve dinner they do have plenty of options to eat at restaurants in Springbok itself as well as having braai facilities and braai packs available. all rooms have braai facilities. The breakfast selection was also excellent. I was there are business but it really felt like a holiday!

We went to see the flowers of Namakwaland and a friend recommended the guest house. We had a good night's sleep after being in the car all day. We did not opt for breakfast as it is way too expensive! (We own a hotel and I fail to see how you can charge R145 per person for breakfast!) The staff were friendly and helpfull and the unit clean and comfortable.

On our way back from a 2 month camping trip, we decided to opt for self catering as the temperature was going to be rather cold! What a pleasant surprise this was! The guesthouse comprises outside cottages, each with it's own stoep and braai place. The unit was scrupulously clean, the bed absolutely massive and extremely comfortable and the bathroom had an excellent shower. There is the possibility to purchase firewood, bread and other commodities and they did offer a breakfast box which we declined. The only slightly odd thing was that the unit, although self catering, had no oven or hob at all so the option was either to braai or to microwave. Not a huge problem but good to be aware of . I would highly recommend Kleinplasie - it was a pleasure to stay there and I would definitely stay there again.

We recently stayed at Kleinplasie Lodge during our flower tour of Namaqualand. Excellent value for money. Very friendly staff, beautiful gardens and very neat and clean rooms. Really five star quality and a bed to dream of. We enjoyed every moment. The staff could advise on the best routes yo take and places to visit to make our trip really worth while and enjoyable. Breakfast was also excellent. We can recommend this guesthouse for anybody visiting Springbok.

Often traveling from Namibia to Cape Town, we usually overnight in Springbok as a half-way stop. We have stayed at many facilities in the town, but friends suggested we should try Kleinplasie. We have not been disappointed. The friendly service, the room, the setting and ambience. Everything you don't expect. We will definitely return in the future. Thank you for a plasie in the middle of the town.

Rooms are of a high standard and the garden is also very neat. Breakfast was great. Parking could be a problem outside the fenced off area if the lodge is full. The lodge is situated within easy reach of the main shopping area

This is a great facility as an overnight or when visiting the Namaqua area. It is well positioned with easy access into any direction. If you visit the area during the flower season, Kleinplasie has an excellent view over the flowers of the town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and very comfortable. All facilities are adequate and up-market
