A very pleasant overnight stop. Sites are large with grass and paving. Good electricity supply - sites are neat and clean and each has a built in braai area. The Sports Pub has a limited menu, but the food is very tasty and generous. Ablutions are well appointed, modern and clean. Felicity was a pleasure to deal with both during the booking process and in the Pub.

We used this camsite just for one night, as a stop between Johannesburg and Indian ocean coast. The campsite is easily to be found, the owners are very helpful and the evening brai was sooo delicious!

This caravan park is situated on the main road and is thus easy to find.It is more of an overnight (or 2) stopover park. The ablutions are outstanding, the site very neat and well maintained, all camp lights work and the restaurant in the camp is great. The receptionist was very pleasant as was the guard at the boom gate to the park.

Stayed at the Sundowners as I was there for business and received the best service.
Staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are in an immaculate condition.

Will definitely be taking my family there sometime and recommend it to anyone that will be visiting the area.

Thank you Sundowners

We had our school reunion party around the fire at the lapa and in the dining room on the Friday and Saturday evenings. The venue is great for a party and the braai and potjie was very good. We had a wonderful time, the venue lends itself very well to kuier with old friends.

I had a quite unit at the back, away from the main road from the traffic noise which was great. It has a great restaurant and bar, locals were a bit quite but the rugby was on TV.
But the friendly staff at the restaurant made up for it. Look forward to my next stay.

Our family needed a half-way stop-over at a Caravan park on our way to Kosi Bay. The lady who answered the phone was very friendly and said we could arrive any time (being caught in Friday afternoon traffic in Gauteng causes uncertainty as to arrival time). For us, as off-road caravaners who love camping it was a pleasant stop-over. The ablutions are neat and clean with hot water and plugs for women to blow-dry their hair. The only negative is the noisy road, but maybe it is better if you stay in a chalet. All in all a good experience!

The chalet was of average, but very clean and tidy standard. Old bathroom, but well equipped and with all the toiletries a traveler may need. I could not find an iron to get rid of the crinkles in my shirt, but maybe I didn't look in all the cupboards. Tea and coffee making facility in room.I a country riddled with violence I found it strange that no burglar guards were installed on the windows and as such was too nervous to sleep with the windows open. As there in no air conditioning in the rooms, it turned out a hot and sweaty night. The small fan on the desk tried its best to keep me cool.

Very Clean for a Caravan Park.

The overall look of the place is inviting. The service you receive while booking in is quite professional and hassle free.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathrooms are also of a satisfying standard. What is even more impressive is how your car, however large, can fit into the door way which can also serve as a Shelter and you will be able to hear if anything would happen to your car.

Overall pleased on both occasions i stayed there. We had chosen to drive the extra 45KM from Amsterdam because the place is really quite a nice place to spend the night as opposed to the other options we had.
