Friendly & helpful staff, beautiful scenery. DELICIOUS food. Well-appointed suite. Loved to stay there - DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE!! (Only negative was dust on top of closet, accidentally discovered when I stored our luggage on top of it.)

We stayed in the garden suites which were beautifully appointed, Very comfortable beds and fantastic showers! Love the garden patio which I used every morning for bird watching and cups of coffee. Meals are good. Staff are amazing and went out of their way to assist. Definitely will return.

The new rooms at Notties Hotel and beautifully appointed....ours had an outside patio as well as a comfortable lounge alcove. The shower was fantastic; generously big with a proper, wide shower head. The service in the dining room was great and the food excellent. As a country hotel and gateway to the Midlands, Notties can't be bettered. There is a...

The hotel is over 120 years old but well maintained and comfortable but with few modern facilities in all rooms. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. One of our nights was one of their nights for "locals" for dinner and we were made very welcome and treated as though we lived there. WiFi is available in public...

Was here year ago and the bar was full of smokers blast from the past 1985. But the new manager said he was going to clean up the place. Restaurant and bar has been upgraded but still comfortable. Drive around the back to the bar on a cold or wet night.

Seriously, who gave this place a 3 Star Rating?? Yes, the sheets were clean, and the shower was hot....but honestly, this place needs to up their game. The rooms are definitely anything but soundproof, no shelf in bathroom anywhere to put toiletries, hairdryer supplied in drawer not working, plates and left overs from room service ordered on Saturday lunch time,...

The location is perfect for visiting the Midlands Meander. Breakfast good. The new rooms are really nice - although the bathroom is really too small. Room 4 downstairs, where we were first put, needs SERIOUS upgrading. It is old - most things are in not great repair toilet seat is falling apart and half broken, headboard is loose. Once these...
