Very cosy hotel in the middle of Midlands! It was winter when we visited and on arrival a fire was prepared in our room which has lots of books to chose from! The restaurant is top class, from breakfast to dinner, the chef does not stop to impress! The family that own the place walk around and greet the guests!...

What a wonderful surprise. We stayed here for a few nights. The rooms were well presented and of high quality. The best part is having a massage at the spa. Very pleased indeed. Professional and friendly service. The staff are trained to the highest standards and have the customers best interests at heart which makes a big difference. As I...

Stunning family holiday. Warm and cozy The restaurant has delicious food. Loved the spa. Even had baby sitting service. The rooms and bathrooms were really nice and comfortable. Clean, lovely deco and warm. There was lots to do on the drive up to Fordoun. As well as in the Nottinghill area.

We spent a lovely nine-day holiday at Fordoun. The service is brilliant, staff very friendly, elegant and spacious rooms. Food is delicious, but dinner menu is quite fancy, so nine days is a long time to eat gourmet meals. We stayed in room 2 which backs onto a huge open lawn which is beautiful and there are nice walks to...

My wife and I stay at Fordoun once or twice a year. Last week we took my dear father, who has just celebrated his 96th Christmas, with us, for his fourth stay. The welcome we all received from Jules, the general manager, and Jon and his son, Andrew - the owners - and their long-serving staff was as sincerely warm...
