Beautiful setting in the mountains with cabins and hot showers. Very experienced, patient and fun guides. The food was excellent, especially the dinners on the grill. Mauricio was the perfect host, always available, hiking with us, taking pictures and encouraging us. Three beautiful canyons with crystal clear water. I would highly recommend this trip and do all three canyons. Fantastic!

I don't normally leave reviews, but when an experience is this outstanding, I couldn't stay silent. I was hesitant to go for a few reasons, but so glad that I did. A 57 year old man from Texas who speaks very little Spanish to name a few. But the team from Aldea Matacanes made it an awesome trip. I felt so comfortable in their knowledgeable hands. The trip had it all, beautiful countryside, great adventure, and awesome people. If your hesitant, don't be - IT IS AWESOME!!

Siria, Josue, and Mauricio were great hosts, incredible guides, and the canyons were beautiful and thrilling. My wife and I saw Matacanes, Chipitín, and Hidrofobia - hard to say which was best! Cabins were simple, but the location and hosts were a pleasure. Highlights: Chipitín rappel, Matacanes caves, natural water slides, and beautiful emerald water. Lowlights: ice cold water, mosquitoes and poison ivy, keep in mind that shorty wet suits might not be warm enough if you are small (under 125 lbs). If you’re looking for adventure, I give it my highest recommendation.
