I went there with my wife for a couple of nights. Waited for a few minutes till one of the owners came. They gave us 2 keys, one for our room and one for the main door. The room was really clean and cozy and the bathroom as well. We really enjoyed the room. The hotel itself from inside is nature friendly, we took a lot of photos inside the hotel itself. There is a place inside like a kitchen or a bar with a blackboards menu, but it wasn't open, I don't know if it is working at the morning or at the weekends or not, we woke up later usually. However, there was a girl at night came to the main door asks us to open the door for her, as we understood that she stays at the hotel. I couldn't open the door and I had to call the owner to talk to her in Spanish. So, I really suggest one of the business owners to stay at the hotel to manage these unexpected events, and not let it be the responsibility of the guests. Also, the drain of the shower room was not that efficient, it was draining water slowly. Otherwise, the it is an amazing service, clean and next to plaza central which is amazing place.

My husband and I stayed for two nights after the Easter weekend in the Esmerelda Room. The room was very cozy and very very clean! It was a very comfortable stay at an affordable rate. Although there were other guests with us, the were still empty rooms. Maybe because of the low season, reception was not 24hours. Guests were given keys to the main door of the hotel as well as the room. I absolutely loved the garden and the design of the hotel. Loved the colours and aesthetics! One complain though. The wifi was not good. Perhaps, the router needs to be strategically placed. This hotel is also walking distance from the main town area. The walk to the town area is scenic with lots of colourful houses with the mountains as a backdrop. Will definitely stay in this hotel again if we were to go back to Santiago.
