On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Kimberley and given lots of useful information including places to eat nearby. Our room was large, comfortable and well equipped, and had a door which led out onto a large patio/balcony, with a staircase which led directly down to street level. We went out to eat, but the choice of restaurants was not brilliant. However what we had was quite acceptable. We slept well in the very comfortable bed, and enjoyed an excellent cooked breakfast before setting off on the next leg of our journey. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Gite to other visitors.

Superb B & B, lovingly furnished. Hosts extremely friendly and helpful, you feel as if you belong to the family. Really wonderful breakfast, freshly prepared. We were not properly prepared for the cold and only a small part of the Mauricie National Park is open in April. So we have to come back one time in summer! Highly recommended!

Grand Piles is a cute little hillside town with a beautiful view. The B&B hosts Kimberly and Gaston were very kind, accommodating our vegetarian diet and our needs. Breakfast was delicious, consisting of a yogurt/fruit/granola dish, banana bread, and fresh-baked croissants.
