Stayed here over Christmas and we had the best time. The owners and staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. My in-laws we’re celebrating their 40th anniversary during the stay as well and the owners spoiled them and really made the whole day really special.
We stayed in the self catering suites. The place was immaculate, such attention to detail was given to decor and amenities. We had a gorgeous patio with a braai that looked over the vinyard with exceptional views. Quiet and peaceful.
The pool area is lovely as well.
Breakfast each day was attentive and delicious.
All in all you can tell that the owners and staff really care about their property and the guests that stay. I can highly recommend a stay!!!
If you get a chance give their wines a taste too - wonderful!

Jasper was an exceptional and welcoming host. The food was excellent and the rooms were spotless. Underfloor heating with towel warming racks make you feel like a king. Walk around the beautiful vineyard early in the morning for an amazing view.

When we arrived at the guest house there was no signage to reception. The obvious way in seems to lead to private rooms and, being an architect we rather then chose to walk back to the packing shed where we thought reception may be. It wasn’t. So we were sent back to the main building and walked through the (private looking courtyard with absolutely no reception signage) to find what looked like a pool room or dining room. Our lady host was there. I mentioned there were no signs. And without hesitation she dismissively said that “ there were signs everywhere”. I told there there was not one reception sign. She raised her voice and said I will Show you. I then again later confronted her and we got into quite a heated argument. You see I am recovering from ankle surgery and am wearing a prosthetic boot so all this unnecessary walking was irritating and then to be treated as if I had somehow offended her by this this obvious omission on the estates behalf. (You will see there is not one reception sign. I later checked). Then she blatantly ignored us whist receiving two other guests. Breakfast however was even worse. The surly waitress and lack of client awareness and blatant disregard for the customer experience was the final straw. This place is printing money. It pretends to empower underprivileged employees but they have no guidance. No training. It’s a sham. The owner must not live on the property is what we concluded. And it turns out that is correct. An appalling experience. Shame on you.

We had a wonderful stay at Lynx wine estate. The guesthouse is quite new and the rooms are very well equipped. It's location between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek is ideal for exploring the wine region. We would also like to thank the Konen family for the friendly service and good culinary recommendations.

This was our second stay at this amazing estate. Beautiful surrounds of vineyards and mountains with a saltwater pool close by. The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to ensure everyone is happy. The rooms are newly renovated and there has been no expense spared for comfort.
The only (very tiny) bit for improvement is the breakfast service seemed a bit disjointed but it was new staff so sure they'll iron it out in no time. The food was excellent though!

My wife and I love the Lynx wines and have been looking to spend a weekend in Franschoek for some time. When I discovered that Lynx has accommodation on the property I booked immediately. We were not disappointed. The room we had was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable.
Amy and Luke looked after us so well we felt really spoiled. We enjoyed the restaurant and wine tasting also - it was certainly no surprise that we enjoyed the wine tasting and the food that Luke prepared was delicious. Thanks guys.

We came in earlier, fortunately the room was ready for us. So we checked in, signed a fully printed sheet narrowly written regarding an overall disclaimer for everything. No copy for the customer. The room was spacious, really well equipped, but not far away from the R301 which you might hear in the night… The breakfast is a combination of buffet and life cooked, cheese plate is good, cold cuts or charcutery is missing. And sometimes there is no staff available, they discuss behind the doors somewhat you better should not hear. If there are any issues, the person to contact ist restricted to any case of emergency, so what. And there is no staff available loading your luggage. Being honest and comparing it to other places we have been, here is improvement of service. The place itself is fine, no question. But the service can become optimized. We had dinner in the restaurant which was fine, but when we checked out there was 10 percent added as gratuity automatically. So our impressions are not easy to describe. It is truly a fine location with a nice restaurant and many lovely people, but is is not the same experience we had at other places. Hope they will improve.

The most perfect wine estate there is in Franschoek. We were accommodated in the new part of the establishment, this part is pretty new. In one word amazing, spacious with high ceiling, a private terrace and an eye for detail for the decoration. Could have lived there all year long, because of the good energy of the apartment. Everything was very, very clean, also the pool area and gardens. Breakfast was the best we ever had, a good quality was offered, with home made granola and jams. The staff provided an excellent customer service, very friendly, We felt welcomed. Definitely we will be back and we also would like to visit your other Lynx Collection in Constantia.

Lovely small wine estate with gorgeous views - we were really impressed and loved our stay. The room was very large, stylish and clean, and had great facilities. There is a lovely pool to sunbathe after wine tours and a v good breakfast with chefs on hand to make eggs etc. It felt like a relaxed and calm place to come after busy days in Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. There were a few small things that came up which were likely due to the place being relatively new (issue with shower, tv not tuned, lack of signage for reception and usability of entrance gates) but the manager was very helpful and supportive with all of these and made all efforts to fix the issues and compensate for any difficulties quickly. Would definitely recommend and return!
