Over all its a beautiful place but just a few important things really spoiled my stay at the accodation. Firsty the booking process they are not organized everyone that came through had an issue with their booking even after payments once they've receive the proof of payment they don't respond whats so ever. They have a manually operated gate which was a first for me at a guesthouse, there was no hot water on their shower and that was just really pathetic. We had no access to an iron and ironing board meaning Sunday we checked out in wrinked clothing. I hope they will improve on these major issues I've pointed out. Thank you

Price is good. Television should be flush mounted against the wall or its location changed. Banged my head very hard against it. Don't like the open shower, water all over the bathroom floor makes it slippery and dangerous. Also need more light, difficult to shave. One of the lights it the bathroom also not working. Need more visible staff or communication at the venue. River path indicated but closed.

We had our Christmas party with work colleagues. The place needs a little maintenance and refurbishment. They also do not have a swimming pool in the property ,so it kind of limited our fun. The staff was friendly and the place is spacious and has a patio with braai stand.

A few couples stayed overnight after doing river rafting. It is not situated close enough to walk to the restaurants in town but it is a very short drive so not a big deal. Rooms are decent with good showers and facilities. Just arrange for geysers to be switched on prior to arrival if you plan to shower when you arrive. Small but adequate bar fridge is also well priced.

A tranquil setting on the riverside, hearing the roaring of the water over the rocks is so relaxing, one forgets their problems. My friendly well mannered Jack Russell enjoyed her easy walk around the very well manicured gardens. Just sitting under the trees listening to the birds was pleasant in itself. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. A very well kept and managed accommodation
