Had a single night stay as all local hotels full. It is a bit of a trek to get to but well worth it. What makes this are the staff. Reception welcoming friendly and efficient, gym receptionist excellent, so helpful, and bar/restaurant great.

Hi, not sure your question isn't a bit tongue in cheek but the only time I was at Meon Valley I saw the official SFC travel coach parked outside and so I guess the football club and the hotel group possibly have a decent trading relationship? I'm more Hilton than Marriott but wouldn't expect any such deliberate action - and the episode certainly doesn't seem to have had an adverse effect...
