This may only be a small B & B Hotel but the friendly hospitality extended by the owners and their family made this one of my happiest and relaxing holidays. And if you needed anything or advice the family were always available and willing to assist where they could. The hotel was spotlessly clean, everything worked as it should, the bed was comfortable. The room, which included a small kitchenette with fridge , was well adequate for keeping supplies for preparing snack lunches, But the lure of a good selection of taverners overlooking the sea made eating out in the evening my preferred option, But the real gem in the crown was the garden. The whole team took pride in keeping the garden watered and ground tided as the petals began to fall. The Bougainvilleas provided some shade during the heat of the day, The cocktail bar provided a good selection of options during the evenings. A lovely spot to just relax. Myrties is a small village which has not been consumed by tourism and the associated tat. It has that real village community feeling. Kalymnos is a beautiful island, with some very dramatic mountains and coastal features. I was told a climbing paradise though not for the likes of me. So really glad I chose Kalymnos for this holiday. And so glad I stayed at this family run hotel. It shows that where you have hands-on family involvement you can experience a memorable holiday. Thank you team Kardoulias .

My wife and I went here with Jet2 based on the TripAdvisor scores and we were not disappointed. The transfers from Kos airport included a taxi to the nearest port of Mastihari (about 10-15 minutes), a short ferry crossing to the island (45mins-1hr) and then another taxi ride to the hotel. We arrived after midnight and the owners stayed up to welcome us, provide a much needed snack, a night cap and to show us our room. The air conditioners are optional at 5 Euros per night and you only pay for the days you want it - remote is issued on request; we used the aircon each night and it worked very well. There is a free safe in each room. The beds and pillows were comfy, but we had packed a mattress topper in one of the suitcase as we have back problems, especially as Jet2 included 22KG of hold luggage each. It was lovely to wake the Sunday morning to the singing from the Church over the road. The rooms are fairly small, but were all we needed, they were cleaned everyday (except Sunday) and towels and bedding were always clean and fresh. I can't praise the family who run the place enough, always a laugh and good conversation. The brothers Apostolis and Stratos, wife Irene and son Manos are are lovely They work well as a team to ensure you are well looked after. We ate in the hotel every morning and worked our way through many of their cocktails at night and the service, food and drink was always lovely. They take a great pride in their garden and spend a great deal of time making sure the hotel and surroundings are always clean and attractive and they were COVID aware and compliant. We tended to return to our room for a simple lunch each day and made chicken and salad, or something similar, on the hobs provided. We enjoyed snorkeling every day and the sea was nice, even for the end of September. Their is a clean water machine just up from the hotel, where you can get free drinking water (don't drink from the taps as the water tastes bitter). We ate at several restaurants on the island and never had a bad meal, although our favourite was Kauzina, which is about 1 minute walk from the hotel - try the Stifado! Well thats about it, we had a fantastic break, very relaxing and ideal for couples wanting a quite romantic holiday. I can't praise the owners of the hotel enough and give them sincere thanks for making this holiday so special - we will definitely return.

Definitely earns the excellent reviews everyone gives. Stopped here twice with my family and once with a party of 13 as we brought our friends as it was that good. Rooms the cleanest I have ever seen a room. Cocktails are the best and the food is also very nice. Nothing is too much trouble for apostolis, stratos and Irene and the rest of the team. They make you feel part of the family and like it being a second home while you are there. Location is very good and the pool at kalypso across the road you can use if you just buy a couple of drinks or have lunch there. Definitely will be returning again and can't wait.

We stopped off for four nights at this hotel. What a lovely experience we had. The family were so friendly and genuinely welcoming and looked after our every need, without ever being intrusive. The room was well equipped, immaculately clean and comfortable. The hotel is presented to a very high standard, with great attention to detail. The garden is fragrant and beautiful and a wonderful place to sit and relax. Our room faced the road and there was a little road noise, but this was not an issue for us. The hotel is really well located with lots of bars, restaurants, beaches and the water taxi to Telendos in close proximity. We had a wonderful stay, with great hospitality.
