It was my second time at Makis Place. The same great experience.Great service and view from my room, the staff was so polite ,the breakfast had so many options and the price is normal compared to other similar hotels.
Stayed here for 3 nights with my girlfriend.
The hotel is right next to the new port which is handy for going into town via the sea bus (just 2 Euro) or going to other islands.
The port isn’t a problem in terms of noise...More
Just came back from a 4 night stay at Makis Place in Mykonos. The hotel is situated next to the new port of Mykonos, thus ideal for day trips in near islands. Most of its rooms have been recently referbrished and modernised with good level...More

hello Cheryi!I am sorry for my late response but just now i read your msg.Which season you will be there?Makis place is really a prefect hotel but you should choose a superior room not a standard one.Its true that is a little far away from mykonos town and if you go to Mykonos in August is difficult to find a taxi.June ,July or September is much easier. So i recommend this hotel only if you rent a car(I am talking for August). If you havent booked any hotel let me suggest you some others with walking distance. Please mind that in the heart of the town cars are forbidden so is better to avoid a central one.If you have already booked one i can suggest you the right place to eat drink or i can tell you how to reach the town form your hotel that you have already booked.Looking forward to hearing from you.Regards Vagelis
