Arrived for a weeks stay and it’s on the beach, and the location is perfect. The rooms are so clean, spacious and fresh. They are cleaned daily and to such a high standard, and a gorgeous balcony overlooking the sea. The lady owner and her husband was so smiley and friendly but they are always back of the office etc. I hate leaving negative reviews, and I only voice them if it affected my experience which this did. The only negative was the staff. The 2 main restaurant male waiters are really not friendly. They make you feel like your an inconvenience by watching you, and as soon as your finished they say thank-you and take your glass/plate, it’s so rushed. When we was sat there, other guests came in and actually walked back out as they was ignored and not greeted and if you do come in, your not greeted or welcomed, and you have to ask for a menu yourself. On one occasion he brought me the wrong drink and I politely asked for the correct one and he muffled something in Greek and walked off, 10 minutes later I got my actual drink. No apology. It’s best to not ask anything about the menu, food, drinks as they say they ‘don’t know’ and look at you stupid. We will come back to Agios Gordios, but we won’t be staying here due to this. Please get some friendly restaurant staff as that seems to be a running trend here.

We really loved this fantastic, family-run beachfront guesthouse on the west coast in Agios Gordios. The location’s natural beauty is simply unbeatable. It offers several breathtaking panorama views of stunning Ionian See, mountains with olive trees and a wonderful cliff and could be reached within 30 minutes’ drive from the Corfu International Airport. The Pension Dandidis has a spotless private beach and offers free sun beds and umbrellas to the hotel guests. We really enjoyed the breakfasts on the fabulous terrace of the hotel and felt like at home during our stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Our well-equipped apartment had two big balconies and was cleaned every single day. We highly recommend you to stay at the Pension Dandidis.

I was surprised by some of the reviews on this place. Unfortunately I think most of the reviewers are tourists who usually eat frozen food at home and have no idea about real Greek food. This place had very poor quality food, even the tzasiki was missing garlic and tasted of poor yogurt. The meat was clearly either imported cheap meat or frozen or both. The waiter was polite but had an passive aggressive attitude. We won’t be going again. On a positive note the view was good but you get good views almost anywhere in Greece.

Starting from the beginning it was super confusing to understand which room you book. The same pictures are given for all the rooms. After some email exchange I figured out that I booked not the room I wanted. The email communication with the place was also challenging. The only good I can say that the place is in really very good location. Basically on the beach. That is all what makes this place good. Other than that the hosts are not welcoming. Not interested to communicate or assist. E.g. we asked for one hour late check-out. The answer was I cannot tell you now. I will let you know in the evening. And guess what. No answer. With such ignorance from hosts we did not care to eat in the restaurant. There are plenty places around with warm welcome and wonderful staff. Why would you eat here? Also the beach service is basically equal to zero. In one of five days spent in the beach in one of the days we've got a menu at last. But no one cares to come and pick the order. Finally, the pillows could be compared to logs. Just could not use them after a few nights of sleep. The place simply nt the best value for money. Would not stay here again.

We stayed her for 4 nights in September. We booked a sea view room and the view is stunning- right over the beach with mountains at either end and the sun setting into the sea! The quality of the room was very good, particularly the large modern shower. You can walk to bars and restaurants within 5 minutes.
