We stayed 9 nights for our honeymoon. We've come back to Italy 2 days ago and we already miss it! It's really a paradise! VENUE The resort is wonderful, it is immersed in nature, we loved waking up and hearing the various birds that live in the gardens. Our room was inside a chalet very very closed to the beach, but surrounded by palms, other trees and bushes. At a 5 minutes walk there's a small town with markets, shops, ATMs. Breakfast was buffet and served between 7 and 10 am under a nice patio facing the swimming pool. Dinner was also buffet and served in a beautiful patio restaurant on the beach. The resort has a swimming pool which was useful for the days when the sea was too rough. Also, September is stingrey season on Anse Volbert, so swimming close to the beach wasn't very safe: the swimming pool was a good compromise for the days we weren't out at sea for trips to other islands. The resort also has a football table and a beach volley court bookable for free. HOSPITALITY Hospitality was 10 stars: all the staff was kind and always helpful, we will really miss them! We were on our honeymoon, as I said: when we arrived we were welcomed with a glass of prosecco wine and then guided to our room, where we found hearts created with bed sheets and "happy honey moon" written with grass leaves. So cute! Also, included in our package (half board) they offered us a romantic dinner on the beach, with a bottle of Champagne (!) and when we got back to our room, we found again a big heart created with out bed sheets. Sweet suprise! FOOD&DRINK Food was wonderful. Each evening had a buffet of different cuisine (Creole - which is the local cuisine -, BBQ, Italian, International, Seafood, Asian...). We particularly loved how they cooked fish and vegetables, and their various sauces and soups. We also had lunch there 2-3 times, when there's a-la-carte menu, and were always happy. I suggest the salt and pepper calamari, the small market fish and seafood skewers. Cocktails were also varied, mostly based on Seyschelles Rum (mainly Takamaka), but they also served other drinks like Caipirina, Mohito, Aperol/Campari Spritz, Negroni, Gin&Tonic... all the classics. Wine was mainly Italian or French and therefore was great. It costed around 15-25 euro per bottle, so drinkwise prices (and quality) were quite similar to European ones in a 4 star restaurant. ENTERTAINMENT AND COMPLEMENTARY STUFF Every 2 nights there was live music (nice cover bands) and every Friday there was Creole night, a show about Creole culture, music and dance. very nice and fun. Snorkelling equipment and other sea sports equipment were complementary, which was super useful. Every 2 days they also organised free sunset cruises, even though we couldn't join because we were always on trips. The resort, too, organised trips to other islands (we didn't join because we had already booked trips with other agencies), these were around 100 euro per person, which is the usual price for trips there. Overall, it was a dream holiday we're very grateful for!

Visited this amazing hotel in september, 9 nights. It really is beautiful, perfectly placed between a tropical garden and the turquoise ocean, a real paradise! We were warmly received and everybody was extremely nice and helpful. The beach is fabulous: softy white sand, palm trees, beautiful sea, safe to swim. Take watershoes as there are sting rays, as well as in other beaches, like anse Lazio. You can walk in the beach for like 30 minutes, it is the biggest in Praslin and one of the prettiest, very safe and with ATM, shops, restaurants. This hotel has a great location, there is a bus stop near by and you can also rent a car or arrange for boat tours with the hotel. It is a 15 min drive to the ferry to La Digue, 15 min drive to Anse Lazio or Valle de May. The food is very good and the hotel's restaurant at the beach is just amazing! Great burgers! At dinner you have to pay for drinks, including water, like in other half board hotels across the world. You get 2 bottles of water in your bedroom every day and you also have water, tea, cofee, juice and cakes for free at the afternoon tea, a really nice touch. The Sunset Cruise offered by the hotel is a must: snorkelling and beautiful views of anse Lazio and anse Georgete. Fabulous atmosphere all over the hotel as all comon areas are open, you can always hear the birds and the ocean. Really relaxing! The bedroom is very nice, huge and comfortable bed, great balcony with sea views, good bathroom. It is not new but its beautiful, everything works perfectly and is very comfortable. The one thing I didnt love is the geckos inside the bedroom, even though they are very small and I admit they dont really bother that much.

Magical! We adored our time at paradise Sun! From the friendly and helpful staff, the clean and spacious room to the amazing entertainment that is John and Josh (you HAVE to do the free sunset cruise and Creole dancing) and the food is just incredible. Honestly couldn’t rate it more highly :)

The minute we got out of the taxi we were disappointed. This hotel was dark and dank. We were greeted by the grumpiest unfriendliest men who told us to SIT like a sergeant major. He gave us and another couple the most tiresome talk about the times for breakfast etc. and stressed that we only got ONE bottle of water each a day. I asked him if I could have the wi-fi code (as was waiting on an important email) and his angry reply was "You'll get it with your room". Our room was okay but the en-suite was very dated and there no storage. There was woodworm and what looked like insect killer to the the right of our safe. I pointed this out to the receptionist the next morning and we were told it would be removed - it never was and remained there for the duration of our stay. The air conditioning unit was very noisy, didn't cool down the room and kept me awake all night as blew cold air on me all night despite adjusting the angle many times. When we went for dinner the first night it was a buffet! A buffet dinner is my pet hate in hotels and if this had been made clearer on the website we wouldn't have booked it The food was barely edible. Each night is themed and it was Italian night. We barely ate and went for a walk down the beach and found a nice cocktail bar. The breakfast the next morning was no better so we went out locally for lunch as were starving. The only positive thing I have to say about the hotel is that the beach it's built on is stunning and the way the cabins are arranged in semi circles so each room has an unrivalled view is lovely. There were two nice waiters at dinner and one lovely waitress. The lady who made the omelettes at breakfast was sweet and one of the receptionists too. As nobody wore name tags I can't give any names. The food on the second day was much better with the breakfast and dinner being very tasty and we were offered a lovely table on the beach. However, on our last day it was the same bad food, unpleasant staff again. It rained so heavy that the roof was leaking and there were puddles all over the floor at breakfast. A waitress standing beside the largest puddle ignored it as was talking to a guest and when I threw a few dirty napkins on it to stop people slipping she yelled at me saying that's not what they were for. I replied that somebody had to react!!! There were people there who were enjoying themselves and judging by the amount of times they visited the buffet they found the food good. However, it was not for my husband and I. The hotel needs a serious facelift and the bathrooms need to be updated. Also, staff moral needs to improve. Thankfully we only stayed 3 nights and moved on to another Seychellos island. Definitely not four star in my opinion. I rarely give bad reviews.

We stayed for 03 nights at Paradise Sun on a 02 week trip to the Seychelles. It was a trip celebrating 20 years of marriage. Seychelles is a truly fantastic place, with idyllic and exclusive beaches. Paradise Sun was our first of five hotels we stayed on this trip. We really liked this hotel: a beautiful hotel, well maintained, with beautiful gardens, and in front of a wonderful beach. We stayed in a room facing the sea, which was a good size, well decorated, comfortable, with a good size bathroom and good amenities and a nice seaview balcony. Breakfast and dinners with a lot of variety and tasty. A highlight for dinner desserts which were delicious, which is very rare in hotels. Two nights with high quality live music at dinner. They offer a sunset cruise a few days a week, which is great and well worth it. I'm a person who doesn't like this type of tour but this one is really good. Highlight for the employee Josh, very attentive and fun. The weak point of the hotel would be the service. Such a good hotel should train its employees better so that guests leave more satisfied. It was a trip of 20 years married and we didn't even receive a congratulatory note. On the last day, I left my beach clothes to dry on the balcony and they were stolen, along with a beach towel from the hotel itself. Anyway, a very beautiful hotel, well maintained, with excellent food, on a wonderful beach, but needing to improve a lot in service and security. But I recommend it and would come back another time.

We spent five nights here and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are co-located within spacious grounds right on the beach. Some are set back a little but all have a view and ours was less than 20 metres from the beach. The rooms are well sized and have everything you need. The staff were friendly and professional. The food was good. A pretty standard breakfast buffet and the St Pierre restaurant where the evening buffet is served is styled as a beach shack and is located directly on the beach. A range of land and water-based activities are available. It’s a short walk to nearby restaurants, supermarket and ATM. Would definitely return.

Was a let down. Hotel and especially suite need a full renovation Restaurant (half board compulsory for everyone one) looks in the evening more like an improved cantine than a real restaurant (food is of average quality). Given the price and considering other experiences in Seychelles we were fully disappointed This is a shame because the personal is absolutely amazing
