Detailed Reviews
Our stay at the Paradise Sun hotel exceeded all expectations. Attentative staff welcomed us upon arrival and made sure that our room was ready and got our luggage to the room right away.
Our room was on the first floor and was overlooking the hotel garden and the sea. The room had a private balcony with deck chairs and plenty of room - a perfect spot for a before dinner dring.
The restaurant was next to the pool and served excellent food both for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff was friendly and helpful and deserve a lot of praise for the relaxed and cosy atmosphere and their excelent service.
Unfortunately, the hotel had experienced a very high tide that had ruined their beach restaurant which was under restoration while we were there. It was obvious that our restaurant experiences would have been even better if that restaurant had been up and running - but all in all that didn't ruin our holiday in any way. The sea and the beautiful views could still be experienced from the large number of beach loungers along the shore and cafe tables :)
Highly recommendable <3

We stayed here for week one of a two week holiday in November, and quite frankly wished that we had stayed for longer.
The hotel was spotless, the rooms were lovely, very traditional and bed was comfortable. There were good Covid measures, everyone had their temperature taken daily and mask wearing was enforced in the indoor areas.
We didn’t find the deckchairs on the balcony particularly comfortable for getting in and out of, higher chairs would have suited us better but that is our preference and we managed.
There was always a good choice of food at breakfast and the evening buffet meals, with a different theme each night. The hotel also laid on afternoon tea for half board guests. The food was tasty, our only criticism was that it would have been nice to have an a la carte option one night, in the breakfast restaurant, but this might not have been possible because of staff levels, as it is a small hotel and limitations of Covid practices.
The live music at the evening meals was excellent, especially the new band introduced during the week we were there. Drinks were more expensive compared to UK prices but not as much as the prices charged at our second hotel. We found a small shop about 10 minutes walk away and chose to have a drink in the evening on our balcony instead of using the bar. We could still hear the music so was still enjoyable.
The pool was in good condition and we always found a free sun bed either round the pool or at the beach front.
John and the entertainments team were very helpful and arranged a trip to Curieuse to see the giant tortoises and a very succcessful fishing trip for the men in our party. There was some form of entertainment most days, cooking demos, Creole dancing and music etc, all very enjoyable and fun.
We also used the spa and had an excellent Balinese massage.
All of the staff without exception were friendly, helpful and so happy. They were always willing to assist and are a great asset to the hotel. The chefs were always available to answer any questions about the different dishes. Everyone took great pride in their work, what a amazing group of people.
Thank you all so much for helping to make ou stay in the Seychelles so memorable 😃😃😃

We have just returned from our second visit to the wonderful islands of the Republic of Seychelles, and our first stop was this wonderful relatively small resort.
Very friendly atmosphere where the staff call you by your first name, fantastic beach area, despite the fact that some of it has been eroded by the sea (still perfect, even at low tide!), the sea an amazing hue of blue/green (teal maybe?) with crystal clear waters, the one remaining restaurant (the second one has been discontinued due to the aforementioned beach erosion) more than enough to serve all the guests (we were upgraded to full board, although we never used it, as we don’t do lunch!).
Our superior bungalow was just right, and fitting with the environment, with all the necessary amenities.
A huge thank you to the management (thank you Ross!) and all the amazing staff (hi Ivan and everyone else!)
Highly recommended!

Our room was good, with plenty of storage, good air conditioning and shower pressure. Wi-fi was fast and consistent. There was a furnished veranda looking onto a grass area with a partial sea view. Housekeeping was also good, though sometimes rooms were made up quite late in the afternoon. The bed was comfortable, but there were floodlights outside the room and some considerable off-site music several nights which all meant sleep quality was not as good as it could, and should, have been.
The 2.5km long beach here is superb with a very shallow slope and no perceptible currents; it is all white sand and very few people seem to go on it, particularly when you walk a few hundred metres from the nearby village, Anse Volbert. So walking the beach was very pleasant. The hotel warned of stingrays, so we wore beach shoes; but we never saw any, nor heard that anyone else had. There were plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas by the beach.
There was some entertainment by day (cooking with coconuts was interesting) and live music alternate nights – some bands much better than others. The complimentary sunset cruise was pleasant.
We stayed on a half board basis. Breakfast and afternoon tea were somewhat average and felt produced to a budget. At dinner the starters, and sometimes the desserts, were usually acceptable but almost every night the main course was really unappetising. Most evenings it was almost inedible. All meals were buffet but there were no labels to say what the various foods were. We discussed all this several times with the manager (at his request), but he seemed unable to improve matters. And they charged £5 for a bottle of water in the restaurant (though two litres of filtered water was provided free in the rooms each day).
Overall, the staff could have been much more friendly and more helpful; they all seemed very gloomy and nobody was capable of a smile.
Overall, this hotel was very average even though it is located on a lovely beach. The food is poor and the staff attitude did not encourage us to return.

We spent 9 days at this marvelous place. The hotel is unique, surrounded by palmthrees, very green grass, on the white fine sandy bech. Actually, this is the longest and the widest beach on the Island Praslin. It is about 2 km long, perfect for gogging. The location of the hotel is perfect, you can reach the village in five minutes walking, with nice local shops and restaurants. Next it the hotel, you find a nice beach Caffe, in the evening a night disco club .
You have all trips for snorchling starting from here.
The restaurant is located on the beach with amazing view, food is delicious, big varaiaty of fruits for breakfast.
The animation is perfect, thanks to John, who is doing great job for the fun of all. Volleyball, watersports in the day , every night there is life music and shows.
The staff is friendly and helpful, just do everything for you .
On swimming distance you reach an island with many interesting fishes for snorchling.
We visited almost all famous places on the Island, and this is the best palace you can find and the best hotel you can stay.

We spent 5 nights at Paradise Sun as part of our honeymoon in the Seychelles.
The lodges are lovely and spacious within lovely gardens - the bathroom decor could benefit from some updating but it was clean and well stocked. The beach is fantastic!
We had half board and pleased we did as the other eating options locally are limited to other hotels. The setting of the restaurant over the sea is lovely and there is a different theme to the buffet every evening and live music every second evening. We thought food was varied with lots of choice and very tasty. As other ppl have noted, there are no labels but that was half the fun! There is a relaxed atmosphere (defined not stuffy)
There is a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff are friendly and willing to help. There is an events kiosk with complimentary kayaks and paddle boards and they can arrange hire cars or any number of boat or fishing trips.
There is a resort/summer camp style but we found ourselves charmed by the whole place. They also serve complimentary tea and coffee with cakes every afternoon - again, a charming addition!
Recommend a visit to anse lazio - we went to watch the sunset and this was a great beach to visit (different to the hotel beach).

We visited Seychelles in February and it was our first hotel. We've been met with non-alcoholic drink and a cold wet towel, which was really nice! We spent amazing honeymoon and had a lot of impressions about our staying there.
The atmosphere was fantastic, the stuff was very friendly and supportive. We loved them so much!)) The also loved the management team!
The beach area was really attractive with crystal clear water and delightful white sand.
Unfortunately, the main and the most gorgeous restaurant have been destroyed because of severe storm. We've got a free upgrade from half-board to full-board. The food was fantastic, we really enjoyed our breakfasts, lunches, afternoon tee and dinners. A lot of fresh fruit and vegetables, succulent meat, grilled fish, salads, scrumptious desserts, tropic cocktails and of course local rum sets.
Every evening we had some entertainments with local dance, live music and BBQ.
The room had a nice garden view, it was really clean and big. We also loved to spend some time on our terrace drinking some wine and champagne.
Highly recommend it to everyone!

Thoroughly recommended given this really has a super beach, the staff are very friendly and relaxed. Rooms are fine and with a view of the sea, and metres away from beach.
We stayed 10 nights and loved it. As close to paradise at a reasonable price that you can get.
The breakfast is brilliant, with best shakes I had, expertly prepared & served. Egg, pancake, waffle (not quite Belgium standard, but they try) station. Everything is clean and fresh. Great setting too.
Some people will find something to complain about (go pay 10x more and get 5 stars...less Karen's here then...) and the rooms are not the most modern, but this adds to the charm and coziness. They are super clean, fresh, always made up expertly by staff- they really make a big effort. Water is there every day, 2 bottles. Yes, no nespresso machine but old style kettle and instant, so nice addition for management to think about.
Large bathroom and plenty of room to store etc.
The beach has no seaweed, which many others have. It is pretty much private, super walks to do. Great trips to book from the beach (cheaper than via hotel but not much). Fabulous and frankly we preferred this one to all others, except Anse Georgette which is just stunning.
The dive centre is good and all new equipment and well focused on safe diving. The sites are not wow, but nice speed of fish, silver tipped sharks (small), turtles.
Sports centre has kayaks, stand up paddles
The evening meals served in the main restaurant are good if not extraordinary but variety aplenty and themes every night. Entertainment is fun, and always local- may not please everyone but heh, take a drink and chill out.
We even did a massage, with the friendly and very experienced Bali ladies. Heaven...add an outside setting and it would be perfect.
Thoroughly recommend this lovely, cosy and friendly hotel, with beautiful beach, lovely setting and great service. We paid like 1/2 price that the likes of Constance and Raffles (horrible small beach there), so could enjoy lots of other things.

My fiancé and i recently stayed at this hotel in late November/start of December.
It’s important to point out that the hotel suffered some flooding from the sea prior to our stay due to bad weather. As a result the beach bar/restaurant and some of the gardens suffered significant damage and is closed for the forseeable future pending repairs. Although this was dissapointing, the hotel offered us complimentary lunch for the duration of our stay (we were only due to be half board) which we both thought was a nice gesture in spite of the fact they had no control over the weather.
The hotel itself is situated at the end of a beautiful, pristine beach. The rooms were clean and well kept by the house keeping staff and the porch area was perfect for relaxing with a drink. The food each night was excellent and we particularly enjoyed the BBQ evenings.
The main stand out for us with this hotel were just how fantastic the staff were. Lubabalo in particular was superb and really made the extra effort to make our stay that extra bit special, we could not speak highly enough of him. But in addition, all the other staff from South Africa, to Ivan the food and beverage manager, to John taking care of the water sports and excursions, to the housekeeping staff, they were all faultless.
Overall we found this to be a fantastic resort and would love to return one day. Thank you Paradise Sun.

Visited this amazing hotel in september, 9 nights. It really is beautiful, perfectly placed between a tropical garden and the turquoise ocean, a real paradise! We were warmly received and everybody was extremely nice and helpful. The beach is fabulous: softy white sand, palm trees, beautiful sea, safe to swim. Take watershoes as there are sting rays, as well as in other beaches, like anse Lazio. You can walk in the beach for like 30 minutes, it is the biggest in Praslin and one of the prettiest, very safe and with ATM, shops, restaurants. This hotel has a great location, there is a bus stop near by and you can also rent a car
or arrange for boat tours with the hotel. It is a 15 min drive to the ferry to La Digue, 15 min drive to Anse Lazio or Valle de May. The food is very good and the hotel's restaurant at the beach is just amazing! Great burgers! At dinner you have to pay for drinks, including water, like in other half board hotels across the world. You get 2 bottles of water in your bedroom every day and you also have water, tea, cofee, juice and cakes for free at the afternoon tea, a really nice touch. The Sunset Cruise offered by the hotel is a must: snorkelling and beautiful views of anse Lazio and anse Georgete. Fabulous atmosphere all over the hotel as all comon areas are open, you can always hear the birds and the ocean. Really relaxing! The bedroom is very nice, huge and comfortable bed, great balcony with sea views, good bathroom. It is not new but its beautiful, everything works perfectly and is very comfortable. The one thing I didnt love is the geckos inside the bedroom, even though they are very small and I admit they dont really bother that much.

Dear Guest
We do price our drinks to be affordable and value for money
For example a Seybrew beer is 75 SCR and a glass of wine just 100 SCR

Dear Guest
Unfortunately none of our rooms have an outside shower.
All of our rooms however have great sea views and are just steps from the beach
Kind regards
