Thoroughly recommended given this really has a super beach, the staff are very friendly and relaxed. Rooms are fine and with a view of the sea, and metres away from beach. We stayed 10 nights and loved it. As close to paradise at a reasonable price that you can get. The breakfast is brilliant, with best shakes I had, expertly prepared & served. Egg, pancake, waffle (not quite Belgium standard, but they try) station. Everything is clean and fresh. Great setting too. Some people will find something to complain about (go pay 10x more and get 5 stars...less Karen's here then...) and the rooms are not the most modern, but this adds to the charm and coziness. They are super clean, fresh, always made up expertly by staff- they really make a big effort. Water is there every day, 2 bottles. Yes, no nespresso machine but old style kettle and instant, so nice addition for management to think about. Large bathroom and plenty of room to store etc. The beach has no seaweed, which many others have. It is pretty much private, super walks to do. Great trips to book from the beach (cheaper than via hotel but not much). Fabulous and frankly we preferred this one to all others, except Anse Georgette which is just stunning. The dive centre is good and all new equipment and well focused on safe diving. The sites are not wow, but nice speed of fish, silver tipped sharks (small), turtles. Sports centre has kayaks, stand up paddles The evening meals served in the main restaurant are good if not extraordinary but variety aplenty and themes every night. Entertainment is fun, and always local- may not please everyone but heh, take a drink and chill out. We even did a massage, with the friendly and very experienced Bali ladies. Heaven...add an outside setting and it would be perfect. Thoroughly recommend this lovely, cosy and friendly hotel, with beautiful beach, lovely setting and great service. We paid like 1/2 price that the likes of Constance and Raffles (horrible small beach there), so could enjoy lots of other things.

Paradise Sun Hotel on Praslin was the first out of 4 Hotels/Islands we visited during our honeymoon trip. Arrived there after a long, tiring and rough trip was a blessing. We were greeted so nicely, room was already available and so nice! We loved the balcony with the view so much! Also the warm, family like atmosphere throughout our stay. The beach restaurant, crafting workshop with John and most of all the complimentary surprises Sun set cruise! The beach is also super nice with the finest sand I have ever seen! If we ever come back to Praslin we‘d gladly go to Paradise Sun again! Thank you for making the start our honeymoon so wonderful!

The resort is great! The location is great! The beach, the staff, the rooms, the nearby shops, food(with exceptions), John and the tours. It's all great. Only a few thing pulling this down from a 5, is a few observations: - Don't clean tables so fast! Instead of running with the bill to us and cleaning the table as if you have a next seating, ask if we want "another". Such a rush in the resturant during buffet/dinner. - As other have stated, inform better what we are eating/the buffet/what are the options/alergies (lactoes etc.) - The manager/owner is clearly present, but did not introduce himself. He spoke to us, but never introduced himself. We met the Reggie Fils-Aime look-alike(a compliment to him!), and I think he was daily manager..? It would have been such a low effort thing but such a big gain. - Change St.pierre as snorkling destination. It's too much coral damage.... Don't forget the amazing: John, Dary, and Nandoo are what made our stay amazing! And the location and all-in-all vibe: Relaxing and the staff taking care of you to make sure you have an awesome stay!

I will start with the cons, followed by the pros. Cons: 1. The geckos in the rooms.. they are making weird noises at night and barely can sleep. For that price per night honestly they coud add mosquito net to the doors and windows. We had at least 3 geckos in the room. I am not saying they are harmful because they are not but they do make weid noises and it can run your night. 2. The staff could be more polite. Some of them give you the impression that you annoy them with your questions. I know not everybody has a good day everyday but come on, most of them have the same attitude. 3.THEY DON’t HAVE DRINKS INCLUDED AT THE DINNER. and by drinks I mean, water. You have to pay 75 rupees for a bottle of water. To me, that was weird as I didn’t encounter the situation to pay for the water at a dinner buffet. Maybe it is normal for this area, don’t know. 4.It would be very helpful if the hotel label the foods ar breakfast and dinner. You never know what they serve. It is not ok for each guest to open the cap of every course to see what is inside and if you can figure it out ok, if not, then you move on. Add the name of the food to each course so we know what we are eating. 4. The rooms could use a little renovation. Some of the doors are too old and also the furniture. It is not ugly but it is not well mainteined. For 500+ $ per night, I think you can improve something. 5. The wifi is the worst when the hotel is full. Around the hours people wake up and go to dinner you basically cannot use it. Pros: 1. The food ia very tasty and good, a little minus is that at breakfast they have the same thing over and over again. Luckly we stayed only for 4 nights so it was ok to eat basically the same thing but if you stay longer, it can be too much of the same food. 2.The bed and the pillows are very comfortable and big. Thats a plus as most of the beds are usually so unconfortable 3. The beach area is very nice with sunbeds and palm trees. Again, a minus would be that there are only 4-5 umbrellas but the palms can offer you some shadow at some point 4. Pool area and restaurant clean and relaxing 5. There are mini markets near by where you can buy water, snacks, juices, beer, at a convenient price. Keep that in mind. It is a quiet place. I would recommend it

We spent 5 nights at Paradise Sun as part of our honeymoon in the Seychelles. The lodges are lovely and spacious within lovely gardens - the bathroom decor could benefit from some updating but it was clean and well stocked. The beach is fantastic! We had half board and pleased we did as the other eating options locally are limited to other hotels. The setting of the restaurant over the sea is lovely and there is a different theme to the buffet every evening and live music every second evening. We thought food was varied with lots of choice and very tasty. As other ppl have noted, there are no labels but that was half the fun! There is a relaxed atmosphere (defined not stuffy) There is a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff are friendly and willing to help. There is an events kiosk with complimentary kayaks and paddle boards and they can arrange hire cars or any number of boat or fishing trips. There is a resort/summer camp style but we found ourselves charmed by the whole place. They also serve complimentary tea and coffee with cakes every afternoon - again, a charming addition! Recommend a visit to anse lazio - we went to watch the sunset and this was a great beach to visit (different to the hotel beach).

We spent 9 days at this marvelous place. The hotel is unique, surrounded by palmthrees, very green grass, on the white fine sandy bech. Actually, this is the longest and the widest beach on the Island Praslin. It is about 2 km long, perfect for gogging. The location of the hotel is perfect, you can reach the village in five minutes walking, with nice local shops and restaurants. Next it the hotel, you find a nice beach Caffe, in the evening a night disco club . You have all trips for snorchling starting from here. The restaurant is located on the beach with amazing view, food is delicious, big varaiaty of fruits for breakfast. The animation is perfect, thanks to John, who is doing great job for the fun of all. Volleyball, watersports in the day , every night there is life music and shows. The staff is friendly and helpful, just do everything for you . On swimming distance you reach an island with many interesting fishes for snorchling. We visited almost all famous places on the Island, and this is the best palace you can find and the best hotel you can stay.

The location of Paradise Sun is very idyllic and the staff very friendly. The rooms are very nice, a bit worn and could use an upgrade, but still pleasant. They could use some new beds and definitely new and better sheets. The porch is probably the best feature. Sitting outside enjoying the scenery is the best. It was very difficult to find a hotel at Praslin that did not include half board, so that was what was included. The breakfast buffet was what could be expected – they are not very good with signs and informing you what is possible – what can be cooked to order, but we did discover that you could order many different egg dishes and those were very good. However, they need to do something about the birds, flies and small insects. One morning there were birds eating at the buffet, which was disgusting so we avoided most of the buffet that morning. However, the next morning they had covered most of the buffet, which worked to keep the birds away, but there was still a problem with the fruit – some mornings it was very delicious and other mornings small flies and insects were all over, so those mornings we did not get any fruit. We only joined the afternoon tea one day and that is a nice touch. We had lunch 2 days at the restaurant – the first day we had some terrible sandwiches with burned bread – we should have said something which we did not, we only ate little bits and pieces, but how they could serve that we never understood. The next time we had dishes that were better, but still not the best. The fresh juices however were really good. The evening buffet is plentiful, but even though there is a new theme every night some of the dishes/the options are the same. We were not impressed and they really need to put some signs up, because you do not know what you are eating. Most of the time you could find a member of staff to ask, but it would have been much better with some signs also for allergy reasons. We would definitely have preferred if there had been an a la carte option.

We stayed here for week one of a two week holiday in November, and quite frankly wished that we had stayed for longer. The hotel was spotless, the rooms were lovely, very traditional and bed was comfortable. There were good Covid measures, everyone had their temperature taken daily and mask wearing was enforced in the indoor areas. We didn’t find the deckchairs on the balcony particularly comfortable for getting in and out of, higher chairs would have suited us better but that is our preference and we managed. There was always a good choice of food at breakfast and the evening buffet meals, with a different theme each night. The hotel also laid on afternoon tea for half board guests. The food was tasty, our only criticism was that it would have been nice to have an a la carte option one night, in the breakfast restaurant, but this might not have been possible because of staff levels, as it is a small hotel and limitations of Covid practices. The live music at the evening meals was excellent, especially the new band introduced during the week we were there. Drinks were more expensive compared to UK prices but not as much as the prices charged at our second hotel. We found a small shop about 10 minutes walk away and chose to have a drink in the evening on our balcony instead of using the bar. We could still hear the music so was still enjoyable. The pool was in good condition and we always found a free sun bed either round the pool or at the beach front. John and the entertainments team were very helpful and arranged a trip to Curieuse to see the giant tortoises and a very succcessful fishing trip for the men in our party. There was some form of entertainment most days, cooking demos, Creole dancing and music etc, all very enjoyable and fun. We also used the spa and had an excellent Balinese massage. All of the staff without exception were friendly, helpful and so happy. They were always willing to assist and are a great asset to the hotel. The chefs were always available to answer any questions about the different dishes. Everyone took great pride in their work, what a amazing group of people. Thank you all so much for helping to make ou stay in the Seychelles so memorable 😃😃😃
