Beautiful modern self catering apartment, we successfully cooked meals on the odd occasion we didn't eat out, the kitchen facilities are minimal but if you can cook there's plenty of options for making a substantial meal. I don't tend to use hotel pool areas when on a beach holiday, however on the last day it was much easier to stay around the pool before our transfer came, the pool area is very clean with beautiful views and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. We had tuna pizza from the menu which was filling and very tasty. Yes there is a hill but myself and my partner managed to navigate around the local areas, spend time swimming generally walking around 10k a day and still get up the hill (not without each of us providing encouragement lol) this will be difficult with prams or anyone with health issues. We found the staff to be friendly and accommodating getting to know guests but also appreciated when others like ourselves just wanted to have quality time and explore. I highly recommend radamanthys, and myself and my partner as much as we like to explore new places will hopefully plan another stay here.

Nice clean room, the bathroom being especially nice. Nice and spacious. The shower was very impressive with 4 different modes. Pool was nice, not the biggest but for a small hotel it was good. There were enough sunbeds at all times. Beach a 5-10 min walk. Grocery shop close by too. Food at the bar was very good and reasonably priced. The number 20 bus to rethymno is every 30 minutes, you can catch it outside of Matt’s cafe and get tickets at the ‘Topmarket’ supermarket. Maids changed the sheets and towels every few days. As mentioned in other reviews you had to pay an extra €8/day for the air con which is slightly annoying. The hill up is intimidating especially when you have shopping to carry up. The kitchen didn’t have an oven which was surprising for a self catering room, it does have a hob and microwave though.

My boyfriend and i stayed here in June, and couldn’t have asked for more. We got dropped off at the bottom of the hill and had to walk up, this is steep but it is doable and worth it for the views! We had a bottom floor apartment by the pool which was lovely, big rooms clean and tidy with a great bathroom.
The hotel was lovely, clean and tidy and did good food. It was quiet a lot of the time, we had the pool to ourselves so was very peaceful and relaxing.
We chatted to the barman. Anastasius who we became friends with and chatted with him every night l. He was super friendly and recommended us lots of things to do. He organised a trip for us to Balos and Gramvoussa Island which was an amazing day out. He also explained how to get the bus into Rethymno town for us. He recommended a few restaurants, Thallasi, Paraplous and Eleven which were all amazing. Thallasi did live music which was fun. Paraplous is a further walk, about 30 mins each way but all had amazing sea views.
This was perfect for us, but i would recommend a car for anyone wanting to explore a bit more.
All the staff were amazing and so friendly, would definitely recommend and we would definitely go back!

very clean spacious apartments. Anastasio made us feel very welcome, always smiling, the best bar man ever! i would recommend getting the bus into rethymno old town if anyone comes here , i would also note they ask you to pay €55 for the aircon which is annoying as its not stated in the listing it wasn’t free. would definitely come back here!

8 of us stayed 10 nights during a heatwave and throughout the high heat (reaching 38-40) the staff have remained extremely friendly, hard working and accomodating.

The staff endeavoured to see we had a good time, from helping organise excursions, serving poolside drinks and food, providing recommendations for eating/outings, serving a lovely breakfast daily to then cleaning the rooms and providing clean bedding every 2 days.

The hotel is on a hill like other reviews say and is quite steep although only takes a couple of minutes to walk it - the views are most definitely worth it.

There is also lovely beaches in the area the nearest being just a 10 minute walk with sun loungers to hire and a beach bar/toilets etc.

There is an easy bus route into the lovely old town of Radamanthys and plenty of taxis also going back and forth - however a hire car would also be useful whilst staying. As we were a group of 8 and only one driver in the group we stuck to public transport and managed just fine.

We could not fault the stay here at Radamanthys we have had a great time and would loved to have been staying the whole summer long!

As a family we spent 10 days at Radamanthys hotel. To start off, the apartments are great with enough space for the whole family. The entire hotel was clean and well taken care of. The staff were incredible, always friendly and wearing a smile! Especially Adrianna and Anastasio who treat you more like family than guests. Even in the peak seasons, there's always space inside the pool. The hotel is located not even a 10 minute walk to the beach and supermarket, along with all the taverns with delicious food. Although the hotel is located on a slight hill, the views were amazing and truly worth the slight walk. We will definitely be returning to Radamanthys.

Very nice place to stay. Large, modern and clean apartments. Nice bathroom with a great shower. Also the staff is very friendly and can help you with all kind of questions. I would definitely come back to this place. A rental car is recommended for this place.

I stayed here end of September for a holiday with my partner. We arrived late at night so rang ahead to let them know. Very lovely apartment, staff very attentive and great value for money. Would definitely need a car staying here as its out of the way of the main areas. We got the 1 bedroom apartment which came with a balcony. It was spacious enough for 2 people and had basic hob and kettle. Would 100% recommend but advised that a car is essential.
