We arrived here on our wedding day june 29th 2018. The reception was great, my wife had ordered our stay through booking.com.

Today I was sitting outside our place relaxing, drinking a coffee with my dogs by my side feeling all peaceful and happy staying at beautiful Lofoten.

The guest had made booking through booking.com where it is stated clearly the it is allowed with pets on request. In this case the guest did not mentioned that he had 5 big dogs !! (among them three bullmastiffs). The staff and other guests and children were terrified by these frightening dogs walking free in the near neighborhood. OK, this is a long time ago now, but I admit I became quite angry in this case because the guest could not see anything wrong with his behavior. I only regret I did not ask him to leave immediately together with his dogs! For information to other guest - we do like dogs and we do have some cabins specially dedicated. But please tell us in advance if you like to bring your pet.
