Detailed Reviews
If your looking for total peace & quiet, look no further. Stunning location nestled sensitively at the top of the farm, with a house design to match its beautiful surroundings.
Annette & Robert are fabulous hosts, their Tanagra wines are most certainly worth tasting as we left with a good supply to share with friends.
Only downside was having to leave, I could have stayed for weeks. I will be back!!

Beautiful, well decorated house on a mountain. Very complete. Nice little pool to cool down. A place to relax and to have a wine tasting at the anagram Winery.
The location is faraway....the gravel road is very bad but not a real problem.

We stayed at the Tanagra Hill Cottage in the middle of December 2019. It was a very charming one bedroom self catering flat. It was close to everything, but secluded enough to enjoy all the gifts that the surrounding nature has to give. I would definitely recommend this charming place. Oh, and the wines are to die for!

We stayed at Faraway Cottage with our 2 daughters (4 &6). We also had very mixed weather 36 down to 14. We had an amazing experience, the cottage and views from the cottage are amazing, the pool was a godsend on the very hot days. We enjoyed the walks and had a lovely tasting with Robert. Both Robert and Annette were very hospitable and easy to communicate with and our two girls were also very fond of Finn the dog.
One of the most scenic places we have stayed at! Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at Tanagra, in the garden cottage. The cottage was comfortable with a great veranda and braai/bbq. The grounds and pool were good, and we felt very secure. McGregor was a few minutes away and was a delight, quiet with a few nice cafes and restaurants and vineyards close by - a nice alternate to busy towns in the winelands. Anette and Robert were welcoming as was their very well behaved dog Finn who gave us a brief visit each day. We look forward to returning.

We rented the loft. On the website it showed beautiful views from the terrace but not the real view you are facing in front of you and for which we attach the picture. Also it is not such a tranquil and peaceful location as there is a road very close with some traffic. We also missed the "South African hospitality". We were given the key to the loft on the parking and no offer to assist us with the luggage of to come upstairs to show us around the loft. Otherwise we agree that the location is nice, the apartment is well equipped and there are very nice walks on the property.

if you are looking for somwhere to get away from it all then this is it. Robert and Annette will spoil you with their attention to you every need, let alone the fabulous breakfast!
Great choice of rooms, we stayed in the Loft room which has a wonderful veranda and is a perfect place to chill out and drink a glass or two of wine. We will be back on our next trip to South Africa.

We spent two nights at Cottage Hill and it was exactly what we needed. The cottage is away from everyone and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Robert and Anette were friendly and although we didn't go for a walk with Jupp, the other holiday goers seemed to really enjoy the outing with the farm's favorite pet. We went for a lovely walk on the farm by ourselves though and had a picnic at the dam which was very special. We will definitely return to Tanagra for the peacefulness of the place and the beautiful views. The only negative (and this really wasn't a big deal as we bought two extra bags of firewood) was the wood that was provided in the cottage was quite wet and hard to start a fire with.
