The whole experience was just magical from the warm welcome at the reception. The accommodation & consideration for my toddlers. The managers & staff was excellent. The tents were very clean the food was lovely. Wifi connection was always on point.

Hosts went the extra mile (literally) to help us, very friendly, nice accommodation, Thank You! Thatch cottages, with high ceilings so nice and cool, right within walking distance of local restaurants.

This place is hard to describe in a way that makes it full justice! The warm welocming, the nice and clean rooms, the comfortable beds, the fantastic breakfast, the assistance to book restaurants, etc, etc. Nicolaas and Chris, we hope that you will continue to run The Old Mill Lodge forever! The Old Mill Lodge is not a 5 star hotel, it is rustic, but clean and comfortable. WHy is it different,?? The Hosts, Peter and Jannie, are amazing. The food is good, the wine is good, the ambiance is wonderful. If you want to have a relaxing time in a place that is caught in a time warp, far from the 'wonders' of the noisy, busy and hectic modern world, then this is the place for you. Located on 7 lay lines, some of which cross, the feeling of tranquillity hits you the moment you arive. We had a wonderful time and cant wait to go back. TIP: Approach from Robertson to McGregor, this is a tarmac road, others are track roads, and not good on the tyres!!
