Detailed Reviews
We spent the long week end at Mosaic Lagoon lodge with some friends. We loved the privacy of the small lodge and felt like we were at a really special place. The staff were very attentive to every detail, the food and wine selection was excellent. We enjoyed quad biking at the sanctuary and visiting the neighboring properties, Spookhuis cottages and Springfontein wine estate. We also enjoyed a few treatments at the spa. A truly relaxing and enjoyable weekend away. Thank you to all the staff.

Our team was lucky enough to have stayed at Mosaic Lagoon Lodge for one night, a team of 18 people. The staff were so welcoming and very organised. The venue is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed a nature walk, which is presented very well, as well as the quad bike rides. The food was delicious. Overall amazing experience.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we had the most relaxing stay amongst beautiful surroundings and most importantly beautiful people.
Make sure you get a room with the lagoon view they are very special.
All the staff are so kind and helpful. Maria is a great cook in the kitchen, Tanya and Ishmael were delightful front of house.
Vitalis was charming and brilliant and Jo the manager made sure everything and everyone was looked after.
If you are looking for a total relaxing stay with stunning views of the huge lagoon, birds and mountains this place is for you.
Just one little word of warning the Raka Rosé is orrible and should have a health warning !

We had the most amazing 2 night stay here as part of our honeymoon trip in South Africa. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us.
The food was delicious and catered well for me too, being vegetarian.
Whilst here we enjoyed 3 activities; a trip to the beach which is STUNNING, quad biking which is a lot of fun with superb views of the mountains and an early morning boat trip to see lots of the birds. All 3 activities were so much fun and thoroughly enjoyable.
Thank you to everyone for giving us an unforgettable experience and the best honeymoon we could have asked for! We hope to return one day in the not too distant future.
We would recommend Mosaic Lagoon Lodge to everyone.
All the best, Becky & Tom

We had a great day at the Mosaic Lagoon Lodge. The views are spectacular. The food was exquisite. The accommodations were rustic - elegant. The staff was very friendly, thoughtful, gracious, and knowledgeable. We set out to see whales, took an interesting and informative nature hike, rode ATVs, rode bicycles, and luxuriated in a unique hot tub. It is quite beautiful here and it should not be missed. The local wines add to the totality of this fine experience. Wish we could have extended our stay.

This small intimate lodge overlooking the lagoon is perfect for bird enthusiasts or those simply looking to relax in beautiful surroundings. From the moment we were welcomed by the wonderful staff, we were made to feel at home and treated like one of the family. Informal, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. We had a wonderful, albeit too short stay. I’d recommend at least two nights in order to experience the full range of activities available in and around the lodge. Tip: Take the trip to the beach….just incredible!

The staff were fantastic, the food wonderful and the accommodation was blissful. Definitely recommend a stay at Mosaic!
From the G&T before dinner on the patio, to the variety of dishes served. My wife is vegetarian, and she really enjoyed the chef's dishes. They were inventive.
We also enjoyed the quad bike ride in the fynbos. The views were spectacular from atop the fynbos hill. Our room was very comfortable with all the amenities include the mini bar stocked to your preference.
Al in all, a delightful few days spent in a magical part of the Cape.

Had an absolutely outstanding time. The rooms are spectacular and the bathrooms with the soaking tub and indoor and outdoor showers are out of this world. The staff are incredible and extremely personable. The hike up the mountain is an absolute must; saw lepoard tracks that were less than one hour old! So many things to do with the ATV ride also another "must do". Could easily have spent a week there!!!!

They have a wood pellet heater in the corner. We were a little chilled in the bathroom so they brought in a space heater for the bathroom.

No it would be too far & is not somewhere for a day trip. You need time to relax & enjoy the tranquility whilst taking in the beautiful scenery
Hi Peter,
I just want to make sure you received our answer to this from our website (your question was there also).
Thank you.
