I did a 2 night spa package with my daughter. Such a wonderful experience. Her first guided game drive and spa massage. Our guide, Abri, was wonderful - informative and entertaining and tailored our drives to the people in the group - 4x4-ing on soft...More
I spent a lot of time researching which safari to go on whilst in SA and this exceeded all expectations! They arranged a private transfer for us from Cape Town and it took 4 hours to get there. On arrival we were greeted with welcome...More

Sorry, I was on an organised tour, Saga Holidays, Where Oceans Meet, which was exceedingly good, but means I don’t know anything about transport methods. People who had been on huge game drives were less impressed than I was, but, as I said in my report, I spoke as a first-timer. Also this game reserve is malaria free, a great incentive to me.
Another visit I enjoyed was the Kango Wildlife Ranch at Oudtshoorn, condemned by some as little better than a zoo, but instrumental in conservation and with a very enthusiastic staff, AND the opportunity to stroke a cheetah.
I’m sorry not to be able to be more helpful, as I said earlier.
