Dear Rusty Gate, Thank you for your follow up after a fantastic stay. It gives me great pleasure to say that we loved our weekend in your piece of paradise and could have easily stayed longer. We were there with the Hike like a girl weekend and will surely return with our families. May I compliment you on your stunning cottages. We were in the uber comfortable and stylish decorated Kingfisher. There was need for nothing in your well equipped cottage and we were well rested after two nights in the the second most comfortable bed in the world. My own bed takes first place but in the cold evenings the warm blanket was a welcome addition and falling asleep to the sound of the river was a special treat. The trails are amazing and very well marked and the views are out of this world. Thank you so much for hosting us and we are looking forward to visiting again soon! Best regards  Maritha Coleman

Very comfortable, beautifully decorated and well appointed cottage in beautiful location with excellent views. Unfortunately we only stayed 1 night as we were walking the Camino of Hope. Definitely planning a return visit.

Stunning accommodation is hidden away high up in the mountains of the western cape. Not too far from Cape Town but you will feel you're in the Alps. The accommodation is superb and very stylish and the surrounding, hiking/running trails are breathtaking. Fireplaces inside and outside, braais, braai wood are all perfect and the kitchen is modern and even has a dishwasher. Perfect hideaway for a family with kids for a long weekend. We definitely loved it and will most certainly come back! Pure bliss but just make sure you go up the mountain from the Helderstroom side and if your GPS says you can go from the villiersdorp side then rather don't take the mountain pass... it is a bit scary.

We look forward to seeing you back soon.

Not far from Cape Town, yet it felt like a million miles away! You feel like you are completely in the middle of nowhere with views that go on forever. Yet the accommodation is super stylish, extremely comfortable, with all modern amenities. Wonderful outdoor activity options! This is a great escape!
