Bathrooms in shocking conditions No mentioning or map of activities in and around the campsiteetc Big blue bins overflowing with garbage electric points very far from campsite - had to use a 30meter extension cord No mentioning or covid protocols in bathrooms
The views were breathtaking! The farm baked , warm bread on arrival was a lovely surprise as was the welcome letter. The cottage was cosy and well equipped. The linen and towels were crisp and clean. The fridge was large enough for a four day stay. The river alongside the campsite provides hours of entertainment as does the hot tubs on each deck. We will be back without a doubt! Loved the fact that there was no TV and poor reception - one is able to cut yourself off from the real world and reconnect with family, friends and nature. Highly recommend OEWERZICHT!
We had an amazing stay over the Easter Weekend. It’s a beautiful cottage, equipped with everything you need (and didn’t know you needed - like the ice maker). Antoinette, our host, was incredibly gracious, helpful, and welcoming.
Stone cottages are basic and comfortable, nice shower. Beautiful view. just 9km to Grayton which is lovely and convenient. The river is nice for kayaks and swimming. The grass area by the waster is not very shady
What a lovely house, perfect for either a large family or a group of friends. The outdoor undercover veranda with braai lends itself to chatting, laughing and generally having great fun. The propoerty is close enough to walk to the main street, so no cars required from arrival to departure. The only problem we had was that 10 friends had to share one gate key which made "coming and going" quite difficult. Perhaps ypu could investigate a gate keypad with a code?
