Desert quiver camp was fully booked, so we booked here instead. After staying in a number of lodges on our trip around Namibia, it was refreshing to stay somewhere simpler and closer to nature. But with the convenience of an ensuite bathroom - now that's my idea of camping! We ate at nearby sossusvlei lodge the first night - I'm...

Coolest "tents" ever. We stayed only one night, but wish we've could stayed longer. The room and bathroom were big. Cutest outdoor kitchen. Woke up to the sunrise, beautiful! Had breakfast (N$100) at the Sossusvlei lodge before entering the park. The breakfast was amazing! Personalized scrambled eggs! They also offered lunch packs (N$80), and we were very satisfied with those...

Dear Sina, Thank you for the great rating! Happy to hear that you enjoyed our rooms, the large bathroom, the outdoor kitchen as well as the breakfast and lunch packs. Desert Camp is a self-catering facility, thus we don't have a restaurant there but utilize our Sossusvlei Lodge restaurant since we can offer a much better variety there and we...

Desert Camp is a great place to stay for a visit to Sossusvlei. The tents are half building and half tent, foundation floors and tent walls with plenty of zippered windows to let the breeze cool the room. The bed was fine as was the bathroom. Meals were at the Desert Camp's sister lodge a few miles away. Instead of...

Stayed here for 2# nights. Fantastic sunset & sunrise views. Great braai (barbeque) on the veranda. We stayed in units 201 & 202. Unit 201 is the only unit that has a/c, all others only have fans, which during the day, can be unbearably hot. That aside, this place offers the perfect launch pad for excursions into Sossusvlei, or surrounding...

I loved being in the desert and this camping met my expectations. Every camping space comes with electricity and lights. You get a grill for the BBQ and a surface to do the cooking. The toilets are clean and open air. Hot shower was working fine (not that you need an hot shower in the desert) and was powerful so...

The complex is in the midle of the desert, comprised by some tents very comfortable inside!!! Good shower, toilets, warm water, all the windows/doors have screens to avoid the million bugs to enter. It's surrounded by rocks, which made the sunset a beautiful scene. We witnessed a sand storm in one of the nights, it seemed our tent was going...
