We recently stayed here for a total of 3 nights, this is by far the best site we’ve stayed on. If you value peace and tranquility with first class facilities and customer service this is the place for you. On clear nights we sat under the stars gazing into the sky. Can’t wait to return back soon.

Room Tip:Reaching the place was really tough. Be prepared for really crazy sandy roads

We (two adults, two kids 17 and 15) stayed at the campsite for one night in early October. We had a Ford Ranger with two roof tents. We got stuck on the last meters from Kasane but it was kind of our own fault. (Didn't lower tire pressure and had car in 4H not 4L). Another German couple pulled us out and we ended up driving together to Savuti the next day (very deep sand on two instances but doable). We had campsite #1 and loved it. There are actually two loop roads to do and we only did one because of timing. We should have stayed 2 nights and hang out at this place to enjoy the splendid view. At night we got visited by elephants. Lions killed a buffalo less than 1 km away. I would suggest not to go to the bathroom at night (great bathrooms by the way)

Beautiful safari lodge on the swamps with sight of elephants, hippo’s, crocodiles, monkeys, impalas and Buffalo’s from our tents! Good service (including hot water bottles, drinks and bites during safari, tissues on arrival in the camp, excellent food, lot of attention (but we were the only guests), local singing/dancing, ... the only downside of the camp is the location between private concessions limiting the possibilities for game drives.

Amazing campsite wherein Ellis, honey badgers, lechwes came close to us. Sunsets and landscapes were stunning. The road from Savuti through Ghoha gate was awful, tough and very sandy. I recommend not to be alone and to have experience in such conditions. We had an engine issue and towing to Linyanti gate was epic! We were helped by Kense and her staff as well as military soldiers who were very helpful. Thank you deeply for your assistance.

We camped here and my suggestion would be that you go with an organised and guided group - the roads in and out were awful - 6 hours to do 100 kms and the roads are thick with sand so you will get stuck. You need a sturdy 4x4 with proper winch and all the gadgets. Best not to be travelling alone. The camp site was fine otherwise but you must be fully self sufficient as there is nothing there but an office. The tent sites were closed and looked in poor condition.

Great location, by the river with superb views over the river and swamps. You can see and hear the hippos. It is surrounded by a lot of trees so there is a lot of shade. The staff was not super friendly and when we arrived they had assigned our campsite to other people. For the price of the campsite (US$50), specially if you compared to other campsites, it is not really worth it, campsite has no power nor water, you have to go to the bathroom to get it. You are paying for just staying inside the national park. From Kasane, on the way we got stuck with our 4WD car and had to dig for 3h to get out, which is not a great experience considering the wildlife and how hot it is. We did not see a lot of wildlife either, specially if you compare it to other national parks or Savuti. From Linyati to Savuti the road is even worse, we got stuck a few times in the sand and the last one we had to get towed by a truck which very luckily was driving through at that moment. Apparently there was a longer but easier road but nobody told us.…

We spend one night at Linyanti, our campsite overlooked a small lake filled with hippo's, we had a visit of some elephants.. So you are really in the mid of the wild! If read some bad reviews regarding the ablution block, but they have a new one right now! If you are not experienced with sandy roads ( I mean really sandy) than consider another place to camp.. The roads leading to Linyanti from Kasane or Savuti are terrible!! Long stretches of deep deep sand!

Great camp. The staff was very accommodating. I'm a vegetarian and they went out of their way (without being asked) to ensure that I had plenty of food options. Loved waking up to the sound of wild animals right outside my tent.

The view is undoubtedly the best feature of this camp. There were hippos a few meters away from our camp, we heard hyenas throughout the night. We had brown muddy water in the taps and no hot water. Ablution block is in dire need of maintenance. For the price they charge per night you would expect that the basic facilities would be in a good condition.

My partner and I found ourselves the only guests at Camp Linyanti due to the low season we visited. Any thoughts of our 3 days being a tad boring were quickly dispelled when we were treated to a fantastic stay with all the staff taking great care of us. Our guide, Moffat was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and did a wonderful job of helping us identify birds, plants, butterflies etc as well as tracking down all the bigger animals. He taught us so much about the whole ecosystem and how the animals interact within their environment. It was a fascinating learning experience and a whole lot of fun. Add to this good food, lovely accomodation and a wonderful outlook over the rising Chobe River system with elephants coming and going each day and hippos roaring all night. Cheeky monkeys add to the entertainment around the camp. Highly recommended...particularly for bird lovers.…
