We stayed there in Feb 2019. Over 4500km which we did over SA and Namibia, this was the only place, where we permitted our 3-5 y.o. kids to swim in the waterpool! Also, upon arrival we made an order in restaurant and in 15 minutes electricity in the city was shut off. Nevertheless, our group of 18 people was provided with candle light and all meals that we have ordered here! I must note the good atmosphere in bar: good choice of drinks, including incredible to see marula gin. It is not a hotel where you feel like in a concrete bag: 1) Rooms are spacious enough and very clean. 2) Outside area large to accommodate waterpool, garden and restaurant terrace. 3) Restaurant and personnel is ready to serve large groups. I cannot complain on anything other than lack of electricity on day of arrival (whole city was out of it) and some flooding at the entrance of few rooms due to heavy rain. Thank you.…

Pleasantly surprise to find such a gem in such a small town. Rooms was nice clean and with everything you need. Aircon for hot days and a little swimming pool to cool off. Yes the food takes time, but it's a place where no one is in a hurry. Enjoy!!

My wife and I are currently camping in this establishment's campsite. We are staying for 5 nights. The current manageress has only been here for a month and the place is immaculate. We have eaten and had drinks on numerous occasions. The food is delicious, service good and the staff friendly. We can recommend this hotel and campsite.

We had a stop in this hotel to have lunch in the restaurant. Because we were in a hurry and did not have much time, we asked the waitress how long it would take moreless to prepare a Greek salad and a steak. She told us maximum 15 minutes and so we placed the order. When the food was not there after 30 minutes, I and asked the female manager / owner how long it would take. She said that preparing a steak costs at least 50-60 minutes, so that I had to wait for 20-30 minutes more. Then I said that I wanted to cancel the order. The manager told me that this was not possible and I had to pay for the anyway, also if I would cancel. I told her that I explained the waitress very clearly that we were in hurry and that the waitress told us that it would take 15 minutes to prepare the food. Then she said she would cancel the order for me, but she would reduce the cost of the steak from the salary from the waitress, because she explained me wrong. I told her that this was very rude. She said that it was up to me to choose. Because I did not want that the manager really cut off the cost from the salary, we decided to wait and risk to miss our gamedrive later in that afternoon.
