My husband and I and our two young children stayed here in August. We needed a place big enough to accommodate us right in the center of Fiumefreddo Bruzio in the old town. It was wonderful! Maria Teresa was a thoughtful host and made us a delicious breakfast every day. She even went out to buy my son special food that he loves for breakfast. She spoke English, so it was easy to communicate. The accommodation was very charming and newly renovated, and we also had access to a common room where there was a large refrigerator we could use. My husband was able to connect to the internet there and work for a few hours, which was helpful. The views from the terrace at the top of the main building were spectacular! I would also recommend the restaurant on site- delicious!

I've been wanting to come here for years, and we finally made it....and now we can't wait to return. Yes, the views are stunning. Yes, the restoration of the medieval building is authentic, tasteful and beautiful....but the real star is the spirit of the initiative behind Borgodifiume and its affiliated restaurant, Il Convivio. Embodied in this place are love and respect for tradition and the people of this place, the environment and nature's bounty. The powerhouse Maria Teresa manages the place and cares for the guests like an archetypal earth mother. It was a special privilege to meet the owner and visionary behind Borgodifiume, Dr Leuzzi. Thank you for an authentic and inspiring travel experience.

Beautiful place, it is one of the borghi più belli d'Italia. The accommodation is in the middle of this jewel! You can park in the town and then it is a two-minute walk. The room is beautifully furnished, with a fantastic view of the sea. Cozy, clean, comfortable bed, quiet air conditioning. Good breakfast, highly recommended!
