It’s a very nice campspot near the road between Helmeringhausen and Seariem. There are 4 places with absolut privacy. Especially the platform for shadow and to watch the sundown is a perfect idea. There is also the best sanitary building we had on our whole trip through Namibia (5500 km, 22 nights).

Wow, this one is extraordinary. Brand new. Each site haa its own bathroom which is brand new and feels like in an upscaled hotel. BBQ facility wow, in addition you have your own gas cooking..each site has also its own balcony to view the sunset. Very very friendly staff and a most welcoming atmosphere. Enjoyed every minute

We´ve had a wonderful stay at the campsite. Much space, great views, a lovely pool and the dinner was delicious! The owners even brought us the dinner from the reception to the campsite, which was about 1 km away in a wonderful quiet area.

The campsite we used was very nice. A shop where you can buy what you need with very nice service. There is a shadow parking spot for cars with a built in balcony to watch the sunset. The Table with two benches is under a roof so in case of rain you are safe. Next to the BBQ place you have another bench and a sink for all the cleaning stuff. The electricity works very well. All around there are super nice dogs and a lot of animals like goats, Guinea-fowl and oryxes.

We stayed at one of the self-catering chalets at Betta as a stopover on our trip through southern Namibia. The location is beautiful, and the place has everything you need (kiosk, food, gas station, etc.). The staff was very friendly and professional. The catering facilities of the chalet did not include a water boiler for coffee/tea, which didn't bother us but might be helpful to note. The bathroom is also not separated from the beds by a door. As a couple, we weren't that bothered, but in a different constellation, I could imagine that might get awkward. Overall, we would stay again.

Stopped by for lunch and they had a decent menu. They also had a shop that sells essentials. Also in the complex are a petrol pump and rooms. The staff are helpful and I got my tires checked here. This is probably the only place in this route to grab a bite, so make use of it.

Chanced upon this place while driving from Luderitz to Sesriem. We wanted a lunch stop and was recommended this place by someone we luckily found at a foundry nearby. Small restaurant with a Petrol station, camp site and chalets. Ordered food from the Cafe and someone helped deflate our tyres there as well. Food was quick and tasty. Was surprised to find veggie options a well. Restrooms were very clean and a real find on a weary road to Sesriem.

We spent a night at Betta Camp on 16 August 2022. The camp is actually beautiful and is placed in a very beautiful area but it is managed by 2 extremely rude and badly organized ladies who lost our dinner reservation (we reserved and paid for our dinner 2 weekes before our arrival because we were told by the central reservation department that it was not possible to reserve it on site). After quarrelling and wasting a lot of time with those ladies, we finally were served a very bad dinner -overcoocked and hard meat with small salad and some oily and wet french fries + a small dessert (ice cream and apricots) and at 20.15 all the staff went away from the campsite leaving all the guests completely alone. At night the 2 dogs living at the campsite continued to bark and howl without interruption, making it completely impossible to sleep. It was a complete disaster and the worst campsite we stopped at during our 28-day journey around Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia.…

We really were suprised at the facilities, the service abd the comfort we experienced at Beta. The take away food was amazing, our chalet was so comfortable. The made the donkey at 5:30 so that we can have warm water.

We loved our camp, it was the perfect place! The camp are well main, the food was very good, and the views were amazing! We would have stayed another night if our schedule allowed it. One nice bit about the camp is the raised platform that each one has
