This must have been one of my best stays. Unfortunately only for a week, wished it was longer though. We stayed at the property most of the time, we did not venture out much as we so much needed a break from work. And a perfect break is exactly what we got. Could not fault the

Dear Judeeb11, Thank you for your brief but most welcome comments on your visit to Cape Panwa Hotel, Phuket and for your generous recommendation. I suspect your observation regarding the trip to town refers to our shuttle bus over the very steep hill to the bay on the other side of the headland where there is a number of family-run restaurants and the local branch of Café Kantary. We look forward to welcoming you back to enjoy the experience again in the future. Cape and Kantary Hotels supports SOS Children’s Villages and the TSPCA. Dear Colin f, We regret to hear that we were not able to impress you during your recent stay. Due to the high occupancy at the time of your visit we were not able to provide you with a room with better views. We are pleased to read that the Cape Suite on the other hand was to your liking with indeed a view of the beautiful beach. We have 2 swimming pools, one of them indeed located close to the lobby. The decking is limited in size, and we acknowledge that this pool does not have the capacity to provide a sun bed to all guests in the hotel. Most guests however come to our beautiful location to enjoy the private beach with amazing views. The pricing for our restaurants is in line with the other hotels of this standard in the area, and also the additional Service Charge is common practice throughout the country. This is clearly printed on all menus. Please accept our apologies for the flaws in our service delivery, we will use your constructive feedback to improve in these areas. We hope that we will be able to regain your trust and that we can welcome you again as our guest. Cape and Kantary Hotels supports SOS Children’s Villages and the TSPCA. We do not serve foie gras, birds’ nest or shark’s fin and we stand firmly against the exploitation of Thai elephants for commerce or entertainment. Sincerely yours, Cape Panwa Hotel, Phuket Management

Recently returned from a two week break from the five star Cape Panwa with Tui. This is without doubt a beautiful hotel, the Jewel in the crown being its beautiful secluded private beach. I can only concur with the glowing, positive remarks from previous guests. The downside is

Hi Can anyone tell me if there are any currency restrictions of how much in Thai Bhat you can take in Thanks Gavin
You would be better off taking sterling and changing it out there. Better rate and no fees in my experience.

Hi .can anyone tell me if there are any nice reasonably priced bars within walking distance of the hotel? Thankyou
We had some complimentary drink vouchers for Cape Panwa and usually bought drinks from the 7/11 and had them in our room. Just ordered ice and had our own happy hours!

vouchers can be used for food and tea/coffee in the 5 restaurants, either a la carte or from the set menu, have a look in the folder on the information desk in the foya, it gives the weeks set menus for all the restaurants
