We spent five nights at the end of our holiday in Mauritius at the Blue Beryl. We had a simply furnished but well-equipped, spacious bedroom (B4). It also came with a small bedroom which proved very useful for storing our things in which there was a very large fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Our accommodation was on the first floor and had a huge balcony with 180 degree views of the sea. Breakfast was good.
Blue Bay proved very convenient for Mahebourg, boat trips around the bay and visiting Ile Aigrettes. There are restaurants nearby and the large supermarket at Beau Vallon is a short drive (or taxi ride) away. It is possible to swim from the hotel beach and the snorkelling is amazing.

We stayed here 4 nights at the end of Feb. 2020. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this guest house. The reception recommended us a very good private taxi guide who showed us around the island. If we have the chance to return one day on this beautiful Island we will stay here again. Sad that the Japanese Tanker that sunk on the coast of Mauritius spilled gasoline on parts of this coast. We hope that the corals are not completely destroyed and that the marine life will regenerate from this ecological disaster.

We had a ground floor room with bathroom and small kitchen, also a terrace overlooking the sea. The guest house is right on a sandy beach, you just step on to the sand and then into the water to snorkel. The room was comfortable and breakfast was good with a choice including fresh croissants and omelette. There is plenty to do at Blue Bay including boat trips, also supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It is only 15 minutes from the airport so it is a great idea to stop there for a few days just after you arrive or before you depart. It was handy to have a car. The location is superb and we enjoyed relaxing on our terrace looking at the view over the lagoon to the reef. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We borrowed snorkelling equipment and deck chairs for the beach. Great value for money and we highly recommend it.

A good value option in a great location. The family apartment has two spacious en suite rooms and a kitchen/living room area that is ideal for a family with children. The views from the back of the property are wonderful.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, particularly Shalinee and Fiya. There really went out of their way to meet our requests and catered for our needs, including things like booking taxis, making restaurant reservations and booking kayaks.

On the whole a very good experience. I would not hesitate to book this place again in future.

It was our final destination for two nights before leaving the island from the airport. The adage 'save the best till last' was definitely true after a three week stay. It was such a hi-lite to enjoy the best snorkeling in Mauritius. The staff compliment the welcome the beach and the marine reserve call out to their visitors.

Nothing was too much trouble for them and the final gesture of good will they blessed us with was when they gave us the use of a room to shower and dress for the flight after a fabulous morning on the beach which extended past the normal check out time. At no extra charge I must add.

Just to complete the good service story - They are mailing a book I left in the room to my family in Mauritius.

Did I say the snorkeling is magnificent? Oh yes I did, but I'll say it again!

Thank you to all the staff.

We upgraded to a beach view room (best advice), as the wind came up but we could still enjoy the ocean from our room and balcony. Room is small, common space has picnic benches to sit at (not comfortable to lounge in) but fine if the weather is good. Solar geyser which sometimes leaves the shower tepid. But this was only probelm on overcast days and they were able to switch over to electric on those days. But you have to ask for it. The best past is that you can walk straight onto the beach from accommodation and go snorkeling, and see amazing ocean life, even when it is windy or cool. and after you are meters away from your room. Epic stay

We stayed here for 5 nights in a ground floor sea view apartment. The room was very comfortable and clean (could have done with a lick of paint) and the well equipped kitchen area with a fridge freezer and bathroom were good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful e.g. organising a trip to Ile aux Aigrettes for us. Breakfast was excellent as long as one got there early if it was busy! We used the bus to get to the supermarket and Mahebourg, easy and cheap. There are only a couple of restaurants within walking distance - both good - but if you want more choice you would need a car or get a taxi. We snorkelled and swam from the beach below and walked along to other beaches which were quiet and unspoilt. Didn't use the public beach at Blue Bay as it seemed busy.
Would definitely recommend this guest house as an excellent good value option.

An absolutely gorgeous guesthouse right on the bay. Jeremie and his family are very welcoming. You could hear the hurt in his voice as he spoke about the blight the Wakashio was on the landscape and his love for the surrounding nature and its welfare is obvious.

Breakfast was simple and filling and always served with a smile. The room was clean and cosy with everything I needed.

If you want great value accommodation in a beautiful setting this is the place for it. My room B4 had a beautiful double view. The sunsets and moonrise were amazing. A camera couldn't capture this beauty.

The guesthouse is also near many restaurants, a store and a new mall.

I was able to relax and gaze out at the view. Watch boats, fishermen and walkers just pass. The ideal place to relax and appreciate nature.

It’s the nicest place to stay in Blue Bay! Very affordable, cozy, clean, with amazing location and view. Breakfast was also very nice. Also there are so many nice tropical plants on the territory.
The Guest house is very close to the Blue Bay beach, also close to many good restaurants. Will definitely recommend it.
