Helios, meaning 'sun' in Greek, is owned by an Italian-Greek family who have lived on Corfu for decades. Established in 1987, and now run by the younger generation of the family, we offer a bed and breakfast service where our guests are valued and made welcome. You can relax enjoying a combination of Italian style with Greek hospitality and you will be able to communicate in either language as well as English, French or German. We are proud of the fact that many of our guests come back year after year. Our 3-storey hotel consists of 14 double-bedded rooms and an apartment surrounded by a flowering garden with sun-beds, bar and free parking area. At the reception desk you will always find our staff willing to give you the right tips for a relaxing and interesting holiday.

A very quiet place rustic and clean. We have enjoyed our 6 days here. The see is close to the hotel, very nice restaurants around. The breakfast was delicious in the garden with an amassing view. The lady was very helpful nice and friendly. I would like to return one day ....

Quiet and tranquil, the staff were very friendly and helpful with everything. It’s coming up to the time of year where storms and wasps abound, but the holiday was fantastic.. a lovely secluded spot off the beaten track for being too ‘touristy’.. Hired a car locally, and I can honestly say that everyone we met were warm, friendly and such great people. Can definitely recommend and we’ll no doubt go again.. Thankyou to all, you made our holiday wonderful.. ☺️👍

Set in beautiful surroundings this hotel has some lovely views over Boukari and over the sea to the mainland. This hotel isn’t expensive so don’t expect luxury. The room we stayed in (14) was small and a little tired. The bathroom needed a bit of TLC and updating. Breakfast was okay but not a lot of choice, some days better than others. The walk down into the village (200m) is quite steep so some less fit individuals might find it a struggle. Dogs over the road from the hotel can be a bit noisy but this problem can be found anywhere in Greece, the locals don’t seem to bother. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Helios for what we paid.

Well I booked this last minute. com for myself and mum as a quick 5 day getaway! And it did not disappoint!!! Manuela and her family so welcoming, accommodating and hospitable nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean simple did the job! I think rooms are undergoing renovations as our bedroom was new looking... my only quipe is the bathroom ! 🙈 the shower part was super small and the curtain was too long and kept sticking to me 😳😂Meh would be better as s wet room ... 😃 but all was clean and extra towels/pillows available on request. Breakfast was lovely your typical continental food stuff plus you could order extra hot items.... it was very good ! Manuela went above and beyond even when we had an issue with our transfers she stepped in to help 😃✅ Boukari is a beautiful unspoilt (by tourism) fishing pier with the sea on your doorstep!!! Clear calm waters plenty of fresh fish taverns to explore !! We’d definitely come back !!! Calm chilled and relaxed which is what we wanted 😃😃

Hotel Helios is the perfect antidote to your hectic, stressful life. Clean, simple yet stylish, Helios will help you to wind down. 200yds up the hill from the pebble beach the Hotel, has its own garden stuffed with Bougainvillas, Sage and so many plants I could not name. With our flight into Corfu arriving late, we arrived to be greeted with wonderful scents of wild herbs, flowers and the sounds of a pair of Corfiot Scops Owl calling to each other. We heard them every night together with cicadas and that was all we every heard every night aside from the odd scooter. If you love the thump of a nearby disco, entertainment on tap, continual background music you'll need to look elsewhere. The rooms are lovely each with a balcony overlooking the garden and the sea; each provided with air conditioning which was a godsend given that the daytime temperatures when we were there were in the mid-30s. The attached bathrooms (no bath but a shower) are simple but just want we wanted. Breakfast is 08.30 to 10.30 and is a selection of fruit, cereals, cold meats, feta and local cheese together with some excellent Greek crusty bread. There is also a choice of home-made lemon or orange marmalade as well as fresh orange juice. You can order up cooked items if that's your preference but with the temperature heading upwards, what was on provided every day was perfect. The coffee was amazing. A lovely additional touch was that each table had a freshly picked bunch of flowers on the table beautifully arranged in a little glass vase. The hotel does not provide dinner however there's a good choice of wonderful local restaurants with terrific food who will often provide a grandstand view of some of the most stunning sunsets you'll see anywhere. Breakfast is outside under the vines, with potted plants all around. The owners are very welcoming and always on hand during reception hours. As I said we arrived at 1 in the morning and even so there were lights in the garden were on and the key in the door. Coming to Boukaris you'll need a car as few coaches would contemplate the narrow, twisty shoreside road from Corfu Town. There is reasonable parking at the hotel. Helios is a secret you hesitate to share its that good! Thank you Manuela and we're already planning our return trip.
