Have just returned from a week in this beautiful location. On arrival we were made to feel special and this care and warmth continued throughout our stay. Our room was spotless with comfortable beds and pillows, a large wardrobe, a bright, cheerful interior, plenty of hangers and the most amazing view of the Ionian sea. from our balcony. We had a large fridge and a kettle with tea and coffee. The ladies who looked after our room did a tremendous job...both sheets and towels were changed frequently and they made sure we were not disturbed. We were treated to a great breakfast every morning served to us by the best waiter in Europe!!! Fruit, yoghurt and honey, omelettes, coffee,juice....a great start to the day. Food from the restaurant was home cooked and delicious and always served with a smile. Stella organised a taxi to and from the airport as well as car hire for us. She was always available to answer any questions and give any help. The beach is stony but fine for swimming and snorkelling and it is great to feed the fish! It is possible to walk to other tavernas and into Petriti where there are fishing boats, a couple of shops and a hotel where you can use the pool for a small charge. A bus goes into Corfu town a few times a day but it is best to hire a car. The road along the coast is very narrow and scary to drive along but we got used to it! At the end of the day we always finished with a couple of ouzos, playing with the family's much loved cats and relaxing as if we were one of the family too! Highly recommend if you want to experience true Greek hospitality away from the crowds. Thank you!

Still lovely and still charming in spite of the hassle of Covid. As everywhere they are short staffed at the moment and this has led to a reduced menu but not reduced standards. It is a bit more expensive than it used to be but again one can understand that. It is spotlessly clean and the food excellent. The WiFi is more unpredictable than ever and the new hotel nearby has increased traffic but not to a disastrous extent. Still a gem

The view from our room balcony was amazing! The room was lovely and large with a modern bathroom, the beds were comfy too. Tea and coffee facilities in the room as well as a large fridge and free a/c. The breakfasts were superb, we looked forward to this every morning with the beautiful sea views. We had dinner here every night too as it was so tasty. This is a completely family run place and they are all very friendly and hospitable. We highly recommend staying here

It has been a real pleasure to stay on Akrogiali rooms.....so charming place...and fair price...the rooms were perfectly clean , have everything you need and they have a postcard view. The breakfast was really delicious....and the water has the best temperature of the island, just be sure to use beach shoes. There is some nice tavernas close by, and the hotel restaurant is really good. It is a bit far from the city center but that is what makes it magical , chill and the perfect place to enjoy the peace and the beauty of the surrounding nature. I totally recommend it and I will love to comeback soon!

We visited for a week in October and loved every second. The rooms are spotless and modern and the views are beautiful. The family running the place can’t do enough for you and instantly become friends, and the food is all delicious! What I would say is if you can drive abroad then get a car as there isn’t too much around Boukari and the island of Corfu is beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful week
