This is a one of a kind place. Based on an old historic Coventry, this hotel is an amazing place. From my perspective, from the time of the booking and check-in, until the time of check-out, everything felt great. Great location, great facilities, great restaurants, amazing staff, beautiful surroundings... what can I say? This is simply the right place to go and relax, and forget about all the craziness of day to day professional work. The hotel and services are a bit on the pricier side, but hey... quality comes with a price!!! Simply amazing... to repeat in the future, for sure!
Truly blessed to visit this historical place. The staff is incredibly friendly and super attentive. So magical, stunning rooms, beautiful vineyards and delicious food. Teleport me please. Well done. See you soon.
Incredible experience in this former convent 5 star hotel. Everything and I mean everything is first rate, meals, service etc. It’s setting, the decoration, the retained church and cloisters are unique. The Michelin standard meals in former cellar and its own wine label and wine tasting are not to be missed. Great pool and chill out gardens. We will be returning soon.
This is an oasis near Evora. Staff is excellent, the bed is amazing. It's peaceful, quiet and the food is AMAZING. I will miss jogging around the hotel during early morning, seeing wild rabbits and birds. My daughter had a blast with the pool, playground. My husband could work during our stay. PERFECT VACATION!
The Hotel and facilities are exceptional. Beautiful and a great place to rest, enjoy some history and see Evora and surrounding areas. Staff was exceptionally nice and competent. The old monastery is worth a visit on its own. Unfortunately, during our stay, the Hotel organized a wedding ceremony with more than 100 people which is illegal during the COVID-19 restrictions set in place in Portugal (gatherings of more than 20 people are not allowed, neither are bars and discos allowed to have live music and dancing events). The hotel advertises the "Clean & Safe" seal from the Portuguese tourism board, but this was clearly a breach of the requirements for that seal. During a portion of the ceremony, wedding guests were roaming the public areas of the restaurant, bar, lounge, corridors, wine cellar areas, maskless and speaking loud. Part of the wedding was in the monastery cloisters where a band played and guests were drinking and singing loudly, which is completely illegal during the pandemic, even in a partially outdoors location such as the cloisters. Not only did this wedding create a huge potential for a super-spreading event, it put all the remaining guests and employees at risk. We would definitely not have gone to this hotel had we known such events were organized there during the pandemic.…
