Upon arrival you are greeted by such incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, comfortable and relaxing.
This hidden gem is definitely value for money. A bar on the premises offers cocktails by the pool side. A boma fire pit allowed for a quaint private braai. Breakfast was delicious!
A relaxed and family friendly place to stay.

Situated just outside the lovely village of Storms River this modern hotel ticks all the boxes. Large clean room with large bathroom including a corner bath. Walk in wardrobe but slight issue with the saloon style doors which squeaked and proved difficult to manoeuvre. Lovely garden with pool and sitting areas and bar on the car park.
Staff were great and Martha’s breakfast was delicious.

We were slightly disappointed with the location: it's directly opposite a township which means it was quite noisy at night. Lovely breakfast however and spotless. Kind hosts and newly renovated rooms. If it weren't for the physical address, I'm sure we'd give them 5 stars

We have had two sick people after staying at this guest house! As a result, I went to bed for a few days instead of going on holiday. Huge disappointment for a group of six people.

When taking a shower it turned out that brown water came out of the pipe. Contacted the manager about this. After promising that this would be resolved, it turned out an hour later that this had not yet been resolved. Then we left for another hotel.

Both owner and booking. Com gifts not at home!

My husband and I booked standard double room here and arrived via car in the late afternoon on a rainy day. The compound is secure with an electric gate which they opened when we told them we had a reservation.

Check in was quick and we were given a map with some restaurant recommendations. Our room was outside a few steps away and we were told we could park our car right outside our room which was helpful. The room and ensuite bathroom was very clean and the room was comfortable. Only thing was we had some issue getting hot water in our shower, and realised (after a long time of standing in cold water) that the hot and cold valves were swapped and you need to turn on the cold water for hot water!

We heard there was a bar on site at the other end but we did not visit it, and as it was rainy we did not use the small pool but did see it was on a nice deck where you would lie down and hang out in good weather - just a few steps away from the reception and dining area. We had breakfast in the morning there which was simple (spread of juice and cereal on a table, and you can order some eggs freshly cooked with bread and jam, and brewed coffee/tea) and nice.

Wifi was free, but it was the sort where they give you a piece of paper with some IDs and passwords which you need to tediously enter to log in every time you use your phone, and so many of the Id/passwords were either expired, or in use, or just won't work so it was quite a pain to use. The receptionists were nice though and told us we could ask for more IDs if we wanted.

Overall a nice place to stop by if you are travelling down the garden route with some nice restaurants nearby too.

Beautiful people, excellent service from beginning to end and place very new. A little bit of paradise in the gardens and central to all the fantastic activities in the area. It has a beautiful log fire area for a group out in the garden, the pool is really good and there is a practical games room with a pool board and lounging area. Would definitely go back when in or passing through the area.

The hotel has the cheapest bar in South africa almost like buying liquor of the liquor store. The hotel and the rooms are ok the service is standard some of the rooms don't have a personal bathroom . The room i booked through booking.com showed that it had a bathtub but it did not . The main manager is a friendly guy and gave us good insights about the area .

It's a small and Causey hotel, with extremely kind service. The stuff is always smiling, and will go the extra mile for you. Milton of the reception is a very kind person, who went out of his way to help us with our lost baggage reclaim. We had a wonderful experience there. Highly recommended!

I booked this B&B through booking.com after reading reviews on booking.com. My husband & I really loved our time & stay here. Friendly, helpful staff (Milton & Joslin et al) who really looked after us & gave us a fabulous room. We appreciated the freshly made coffee to welcome us. They also booked the kayak & lilo adventure for us in Storms River. The other half had a dip in the pool whilst I read my book on the sun lounger. The room was really lovely. It could be improved by adding disposable slippers & bath robes. You can hear dogs barking from the township across the road however it didn't affect our sleep. Super bed. Huge bath which we didn't use due to the drought/water shortage. We enjoyed our pool games & beverage in the games room. The car was safe with parking on site. We enjoyed muesli & yoghurt & omelettes for breakfast. The major highlight was the view especially in the breakfast room, it reminded us of breathtaking beautiful Laos with green forested mountains. Overall, it was a luxurious special stay & we deeply regretted we couldn't stay another night. My advice is to stay at least two nights as there is plenty to explore in the area, it is a fabulous place with lovely staff & is worth every rand! Soak up the views & relax!! Thank you very much for a wonderful stay, we hope to return one day for a longer stay!!
