Had a lovely week here with a friend. The hotel was set in beautiful grounds and everywhere was lovely and clean. The hotel was more iscolated than I expected but there is a daily bus to the local village which is free. A bus goes twice a day to Kos town for a fee, we tried to book this for one evening but was told there wasn’t enough people wanting to go so we were quite disappointed. Our room was around the pool which was fab and there were plenty of sunbeds. The restaurant always had a good choice, we went to book the a la carte and was told it was now shut which was disappointing. The bar was satisfactory but not enough seats, this could be because the roof top bar was closed. I didn’t find the entertainment great, I think there could of been more, it was just for an hour on most evenings. I would definitely recommend if wanting a quiet relaxing holiday.

Dear Guest saville-jj, thank you very much for choosing our hotel for your vacation and for spending part of your precious time writing a review here at Tripadvisor. We are very glad that you had a nice stay with us and that you enjoyed it. Your nice comments about our hotel, its location, the food and the cleanliness made us very happy. In order, to make sure fulfilling the covid-19 restrictions the hotel cannot put out more seats at the bar as it already has. The hotel must keep enough space between seats and so those are limited. Also, the animation is restricted in its actions because of covid-19 requirements. We will be very glad to welcome you back here at our hotel and wish you all the best. Stay healthy! Kind regards, The Kouros Palace Team

Can't fault the hotel. Great room very modern. All the staff I came across and spoke to were friendly. No issues to write about. Didn't make use of the beach shuttle as it was a nice 5 minute walk straight down to the beach. Not something I ventured to that often, I'm more of a pool type of person. Activities through the day which the team don't pressure you to take part in like some places. Convenient shop right across from the hotel

The grounds of this hotel are stunning! There’s 2 pools and a small kid’s pool and also a private section of the beach with sunbeds and it’s own restaurant. I was very impressed with the staff of the restaurants and bars! Especially the bar manager Thodoris and also Damiani, Maria (two Marias restaurant host and pool bartender) and Tomas to name a few! All of the restaurant/bar staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome every day, always smiling and helpful! The food at the restaurant was what you’d expect from an all inclusive restaurant, however could be improved by offering more vegetarian options. The hotel room cleaning should’ve also been upped to a higher standard due to the pandemic, although the housekeeping team were also lovely! If you’re looking for a very relaxing holiday this place is perfect. But it is very isolated and far from activity areas and local towns and nightlife if you usually go out to different places. There’s a bus that runs to Kos from the hotel twice a day, however you have to sign up the night before and it doesn’t go if there’s not enough people, which meant we weren’t able to go in the evening as planned. Overall, I was impressed with this hotel and had a lovely, relaxing holiday!

Kos is now my favourite part of Greece that I have visited so far, and a part of that is staying at an excellent hotel. From arrival to departure all the staff whatever their position were friendly and helpful. Due to travelling with my 90 year old mother I was pleased that we were given a room with easy access to all the facilities, the room was large and had plenty of storage and plug sockets for the gadgets we all carry these days. The bathroom was also spacious and the shower had good water pressure. Our cleaner was a lovely lady. The food was excellent and varied at all times, and catered for those who wished to try different things and regular staples for those who don't like change. Even with the extra restrictions due to COVID the restaurant staff made it a pleasure to use the restaurant. Although the bars got busy at times service was always quick and with a smile, one nice thing I noticed one evening was just before one of the shows the entertainment staff noticed there were a few young children attending and put on an impromptu children's sing and dance along. Not on the schedule and a really nice thing to do. Some people say the location is out of the way, but the hotel runs trips to Kos Town for a small charge, and a free bus into Mastichari village so there is nothing preventing you going elsewhere if you wish to. Lastly the spa, both my mother and I took advantage of this and were very well looked after by Anastasia and Dimitra. I believe my mother was their oldest client, both girls were really friendly and not pushy like in some resorts and did a professional job.
