Atali Grand Resort 4 stars is an elegant newly renovated hotel perfectly positioned right in the heart of Crete, in the picturesque fishing village Bali, a short walk from the 600 meter long beach "Livadi". Bali is a tourist resort set by a big bay which includes four amazing beaches. It is situated in the northern part of Crete, near the high way, between Heraklion (43 kms) and Rethymno (30 kms). An ideal location which combines mountain and sea views with a crystal clear blue water beachfront. Far away from everything for privacy but at the same time close enough for activities if desired. Atali Grand Resort is destined either for travelers wishing to indulge in discreet luxury and refined elegance or for those who wish to combine their sea and sun holiday with a unique contact to Cretan culture . Our hotel is a modern and newly renovated complex of buildings. It has three outdoor swimming pools , 4 bars and 2 restaurants overlooking the Cretan Sea.

Nestled conveniently close to Bali and Crete's local attractions, Atali Grand Resort & Aqua Park is celebrated for offering stunning views and a vibrant summer atmosphere. Family-friendly and beautifully lit at night, the resort delivers spacious and clean rooms, though isolated noise issues have been reported. The water park and spa services are particular highlights, adding to the resort's value, and the all-inclusive option presents an affordable choice, despite some desires for greater variety in food and drink. Exceptional service is a constant theme in guest reviews, complementing the resort's overall cleanliness and maintenance.

We had a fantastic time at Atali Grand resort. Stayed for 7 nights with wife, 2 kids (9 and 7) and grandmother. Everybody had a great time. Hotel rooms are ok. Tea and coffee facility at room and also few more hooks/shelfs and bath curtain at bathroom would be great but this are minor things. Food was very good, good choice for everybody. Few bits here and there needed touch of salt, lemon juice or some spices but if you complain about food there, you are just spoiled. Nobody from our party complained about food even once! Seafood was fresh (Octopus and calamary was soft and not gummy) Animation team did good job considering they were not provided by Atali hotel but rather from Czech and French travel agents for their clients staying there(guest are mainly French, Czech/Slovaks and Polish) AI drinks were ok, did the job. Staff was amazing. They did the best they could. Always warm and smiling.
Considering we payed around 1500 euros for 5 people, two superior rooms and AI (just hotel, no travel cost) this was very good deal and I would return for sure.
Dear future guests, All Inclusive concept is ''All you can eat'' not ''All you can waste''
Please plate what you can finish, go and plate 2, 3 or how many plates you like but try not to waste so much food. Hotels are not charity. They need to make profits and excess wasting will put higher prices or will cause food quality to drop for all of us.

The hotel was very pleasant and the staff were very friendly although the language barrier was a little difficult at times. The room was very clean and house keeping did an excellent job.

We arrived late at night due to delays in flights and the reception staff plated some food for us and had this ready for us in the restraunt once we had put our bags in our room.

This hotel is an excellent example of a 4* hotel and I would recommend anyone to come here on a last minute booking.

The outside evening bar is very nice and the drinks the barman makes are excellent and not to badly priced considering. The bar stocks all the big named brands of drinks but this is not included in the all inclusive. It would of been nice if they used cheaper brands and included this in like other hotels do.

The water park is an excellent addition to the hotel and the 8 euro per person fee is more than value for money as my son had many hours in here. The road to the water park could do with being finished though as this is currently a rubble road.

With all hotels there are some negatives which can be easily resolved, the drinks in the all inclusive are very poor... the beer is incredibly weak and the non alcoholic drinks are the cheapest that can be found.

The food in the main restaurant is typical all inclusive standard , so nothing too great but nothing too bad. The fresh pizza being made was a very pleasant surprise and done very well.

If it didn't only cost an extra £100 for 6 nights for the three of us to include the all inclusive I would say to avoid, but at the price it's better to have as we had that £100 in breakfast alone.

The al a carte restraunt is included in the all inclusive which was a nice surprise, however the food was laughable. My wife and I laughed the whole way through the meal at what was being brought out. (It was worse than the main restraunt) and they charge you for your drinks in the al a carte restaurant, if you want wine etc the bottle we had tasted just like lambrini wine (the best bargain wine you can get in British supermarkets).

The rooms were a good size and very clean however you will struggle to sleep due to the noise from every room around you. Two rooms down from us had a baby and every two hours we heard her cry, being parents ourselves we understand but at the same time we do like our sleep. Some basic sound proofing in the rooms can resolve this.

All in all this is a fantastic last minute cheap get away and met and exceeded our expectations in many areas however there is room for improvement like anywhere else. I would recommend this place as a cheap get away from the great British rain.

We were in the hotel 12 days with a small child , the hotel is really wonderful rooms are large cleaned every day. Hotel staff very helpful and very kind, we will be pleased to remembre them. Because of the service you want to come back. Here hotel located in the center of Bali , very close to the beautiful livadi beach clean and wide, well-kept gentle descent into the water especially recommended for families with small children. We hope that someday we return in Bali.

Chose this hotel because of the reviews and we were a bit disappointed overall.
Food was okay, but being vegetarian things weren't labelled or even were occasionally labeled wrong and it wasn't clear what I could eat. Range was decent but not impressive and things you might expect at a 4 star hotel like fresh fruit juice weren't there. It was always busy in the restaurant and people were quite pushy and would walk straight in front of you with no social distancing, although almost everyone did wear masks and the plastic gloves provided.
The only cocktail included in the all inclusive menu was a local spirit which was fine but we were there for 10 days so we ended up going out for cocktails. Highly recommended Nostos on the seafront for dinner and cocktails if you're looking for somewhere to go locally.
The bathroom was dated and there was no shower curtain so unless you were really careful the bathroom got soaking every time you showered.
Cleaners barely did anything in the room as far as we could tell except replace the towels and change the sheets once. We had taken a couple of cocktails back to the room and the glasses weren't cleared after about a week, although we did find broken glass on our floor that hadn't been cleaned up (we didn't break the glass).
Wifi dropped out regularly except in the reception area.
Positives - the main pool area is nice and the entertainment team are good. The smaller quiet pool across the road is also good if you want some peace and quiet.
Overall we had high expectations after reading the reviews and were a bit surprised and disappointed that it didn't live up to the hype.

Travelled to Bali with my partner and stayed at Atali Grand Resort for 11 nights. There was a mixture of couples and families staying however other guests were predominantly French.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The ladies on reception were always happy to help and staff at the bars and restaurant also really friendly.

The main pool area is lovely and well maintained. However Pool toilets not great and often unclean. We found the second pool (across from the main part of the hotel) to be quieter and not as well maintained as the main pool. Main pool can be lively as there are activities throughout the day which were well participated in by guests. We travelled in June, I believe the hotel was full and there were never any issues with getting a sunbed. No pool towels provided.

Beach is approx 4-5 minute walk. We rented 2 sunbeds and an umbrella some days which cost €12 provided by a beach bar.

Rooms are modern and kept clean, although our room was quite small.

Food was overall very nice, lots of options each night and freshly cooked options. Also lots of choice for breakfast including fruits, meats, cheeses, croissants, fresh crepes and hot food. Some evenings we queued for a table however generally no longer than a 5 minute wait.
Drink options are limited, mainly Raki or Ouzo cocktails. Other spirits such as Vodka/ Gin/ Rum are not available in the all inclusive.

Animation team and activities are ran throughout the day. French is the main language spoken and I felt more inclusive for the French guests.

The area is small but beautiful. It is hilly but views are incredible. Lots of supermarkets, gift shops, restaurants and bars. We particularly enjoyed Mambos Beach Bar and Restuarant and Baboo Beach Bar, food and cocktails amazing.

You can access Heraklion and Rethymno via a bus that runs every hour although not 100% reliable, it is also better to pre-book as if full, you have to wait for the next one. Bus to Heraklion takes around 50 minutes.

There are excursion companies in the village, we did the daily catamaran cruise which was well worth the money. We also visited Melidoni Cave which was lovely.

The hotel is located in a picturesque and serene village. It’s clean and cosy! Upon the requests you can get a hairdryer, a kettle and a baby crib. The staff is amazing. Special thanks to Argi and Niko! But really everyone is so welcoming and helpful. The food is delicious, especially dinner - you have Chinese, traditional Greek, American and all sorts of other cuisine to choose from every day. There’s also nice pizza served on the terrace. You get local alcoholic drinks in all-inclusive formula for free and other European cocktails for fair money.

We highly recommend to take a walk to Karavostasi beach and climb the hill to enjoy a fantastic view. It’s also worth to rent a car or take a bus to Rethymnon and Heraklion.

Together with our 11-month old baby girl we definitely enjoyed it! Thank you for such a lovely stay in your hotel.

celebrating our honeymoon, we decided to choose this hotel and we were more than pleased. To begin with our desire to have a room far from the cental building which was a little noisy as it accommodates many bars and the restaurant, too. A dark spot was the wifi, but who cares...when you could reach stronger at the main building. With regards to the food it was delicious, the staff are always cheerful and eager to help anytime. Vicky was a nice person to get in touch with, one of the best animmators we have ever met. Bali is a quite large village close to Rethymno, you can use the public transport to reach many differents cities quite cheap 4,00 Euros per ticket. In case of asking a taxi it would be about 35,00 per way as for Rethymno and 60,00 Euros. Everything was beyond our expectations and for sure we will be back again.

The room with sea view is very nice and the cleaning service was a 10, they cleaned the room every day. The food has a good variety, the freshly baked in the oven pizza was amazing!!! The beer was also very tasty. We enjoyed the aqua park, the entrance fee is 8€. In Bali are 4 beaches, 2 of them are very close to the Atali. All of them are beautiful.
