Detailed Reviews
The perfect stop over en route home to Jozi. So happy to finally stay here. Thoughtfully appointed with the friendliest of hosts. Thank you Carina. We loved the farm style pool surrounded by Karoo scapes and our picnic supper under a sunset sky. We will be back - next time to braai!

Thank you so much for your review, Chanel. It was a privilege to host you and your family. How wonderful to see athletes using our gravel roads to practice - your dedication is an example for us. Hope to see you back here soon.

Really loved our overnight stay, wished we could have stayed another night! Thank you to Carina and team for the wonderful hospitality. If you are looking for a real farm experience with modern day comforts, then this is the place for you. The sunrise jog to the main gate and then down to the dam was memorable. Wonderful bird life and antelope on display. Thank you Carina for taking the time to make conversation and sharing such wonderful Karoo cooking.

My father and I visited Carina and Meyer and can honestly say that they have a gem of a place in what really is a beautiful place in our country.
The guest house as they are were charming and modern and beautifully kept.
There is no doubt the family will be back there.

+1
What a wonderful start and ending-11 nights later, to our holiday at Driekwartblou!
We were blown away by the luxury, cleanliness, great food, friendliness and stunning views.
The scenic drive past and over the dam wall is a great way to see the area on the way to the B and B and it is only a short drive from the highway.
The very friendly owners- Carina, Meyer and their children made us feel very welcome. Always smiling and ready to answer questions.
The family unit was spotless and spacious. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has 3 single beds- all with crisp snow white linen. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a large shower, toilet and basin with plenty of soft white towels. Lots of good quality toiletries are provided. Carina has put a lot of style and detail into the decor both inside and out- a real artistic touch around every corner.
We also had a kitchen with stocked mini bar- very reasonably priced and free fresh milk, cold water and juice. Complimentary Tea, coffee and rusks were provided.
The main bedroom has a view over the dam and you can lie in bed watching the sheep graze in the fields, the sunrise over the dam and the wildlife in the nature reserve next door- Stunning! Loved every minute of our stay.
Nice covered stoep with comfortable furniture and views over the dam, farm and beautiful gardens!
We opted for DB&B and we had 2 fantastic home cooked dinners by candle light served with a smile by Carina. The starter was a jummy mini seeded bread, followed by lamb, veggies, potatoes and salads. For dessert we had options of ice cream or cremora tart. Breakfast was varied, plentiful and jummy!
Next time we will stay 2-3 nights and enjoy the farm life a little longer.

We visited Driekwartblou as a stop over for our trip to the coast and back.
What beautiful setting with rooms that has everything you need and with such stylish detail.
Carina made us feel at home from the start and she was very accommodating with our children.
This place is such a gem and I would reccomend it to any body.

What a wonderful surprize this place was! The hosts, the room, the farm, the food, the view, everything! We stayed only one night as a stopover (sadly) but will definitely be back for an extended stay.

Carina and Muller are super stars! Thank you for providing us with quality accommodation and a great dinner on very short notice, late on a Sunday night.
This time we had the privilage to stay in room 4 - a family room with a comfortable queen bed and 2 single beds. Large shower room and comfortable stoep area. Breakfast was fantastic!
Love! staying on this farm!!

Driekwartblou is situated in a beautiful setting at the Gariepdam.
We made this our stopover halfway between CPT and JHB and were pleasantly surprised!
Recently renovated beautiful rooms with a fantastic view over the Gariepdam!
Only 4 cottages, all of them stylishly furnished with excellent beds, tv, airco, fridge etc etc.
All in a peaceful setting with beautiful sunsets on a working farm and awesome food prepared by Carina.
We will certainly make this our yearly stopover travelling to the Cape and will certainly extend the stopover for some days....
