We looked at the Corissia Princess via two tour companies, but decided to book direct. Firstly, it was cheaper to do so and they also offered to collect us personally from the airport which was a massive plus. Ryanair was of course an hour late in arriving, but our driver was waiting for us with a very clear sign, a smile on his face and a cold bottle of water and a chocolate bar for us both! We had booked half board and arrived at gone 22.00 so too late for an evening meal, but a small picnic in a bag had been left for us at reception. We were upgraded as well, which was nice, and in the room was a bottle of wine and a box of Greek Delight sweets. Sorted!

Buffet breakfast was just perfect, with a nice layout and plenty of variety, and the same with the evening meal. The later meal was laid out the same, with starters, salads and mains in different areas, but the hot meals varied each night, which was appreciated, and extremely well cooked! We had to walk about 150m up the beach to the restaurant, but that was no problem. To walk by the side of those beautiful calm waters every day was a privilege. For those with walking difficulties, they were driven up to the restaurant by the staff in a golf cart.

The rooms were spotless and cleaned each day, cleaners were always present and the beach is literally across the road, with the sea less than 10m from the road. If you are after a place to relax and soak up the sun, this is it.

The hotel is part of a chain within Georgiopoulos, but you can use the facilities in the other hotels such as the pools etc, but the gym is extra.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and nothing was an issue to them. If they could help out, they would, and we wholeheartedly recommend them as holiday location.

There were far more Germans in the hotel and indeed the resort than there were English people, so the majority of the signs about hotel information and trips etc were in German, but it was no problem asking the questions in English as the staff were eager to help.

We really enjoyed our trip to Georgioupolis, Crete. The Corissia Princess is part of a hotel complex with the Centre names Corissia Park like a little village square.

The food at the buffet is authentic, delicious and plentiful!
Just try original Greek yoghurt for dessert, which the region of georgiouplois is famous for.

A wonderful and historic, renovated hotel right on the beach of Georgioupoli. The location is fantastic, because it is in a cove, sheltered from the north winds, the beach is soft sand, easy to wade in and out. The water is always fresh and cool, due to the little streams from the river running into it. The staff is very friendly, and make an effort to consider your every comfort. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, the internet is fine. The food and the wines are excellent. There are plenty of comfy lounging beds on the beach and by the pool. There are nice shops in the village nearby, to pick up souvenirs and mementoes.
I spent a few nights enjoying Corissia Princess last year with my adult daughter, and loved it so much we extended our stay, and are coming back this year.

My wife and I came back from Corissia Princess back to Canada few days ago. Very impressed.
1. Check in. It was quick and smooth. We have been met by very friendly and professional people who were so helpful for all two weeks of our stay in the hotel. Many thanks to the front desc ladies: Barbara, Angelika, Carina. Good job!
2. Room. Perfect size for two persons. We didn't get the cleaners names but they surely deserve a mention because our room was always clean and filled with plenty of towels and toiletries. Fantastic sea view from the balcony.
3. Sandy Beach. Right across the hotel. Very clean and cozy. Beach loungers and umbrellas are always available.
4. Meal Buffet. German-style buffet with a Greek touch, friendly staff, fantastic food. Every breakfast and dinner we were greeted by Babis, our regular waiter always looked after us. High level of service! There are dozens of different dishes to choose from. Everything is very good organized. No delays in spite of covid 19.
Overall, we had a great 14 vacation days and we are looking forward to get back to this pleasant place and meet all these friendly people again.

Wonderful first expression, a very friendly chauffeur picked us up at the airport with some refreshments and water. The room is ok. The (seperated) beds are quiet small and also the beds for the childrens are more like sofa beds?. The sheet for the bed are too short..so that’s not very hygienic. Also the cleaning ladies do not were masks (covid?) and are not as hygenic as well. The restaurant for breaksfast and lunch or dinner is not in the hotel itself, you have to walk to the 3 star hotel that is about 300m. In the restaurant you have to were gloves (for covid) but no masks? So som people were coughing but had gloves on..(no logic at all) . Also although there was a sign hanging you had to were a shirt and pants, no slippers..i think all these guest came from the 3 star..
The food was not authentic and for our stay of 11 nights it was always the same (for breakfast and dinner). Unfortunately no authentic food and or varation. There was also ‘showcooking’ outside but the lady was rude and unpolite…she also didn’t want to speak english..she told us ‘only greek’! Most of the reception personal was unbelievable friendly. Except the one lady that forgot to let us pick up at the harbor and after 30min of waiting we found another solution to het back at the hotel. Emelia was too busy with other guests…We were very pleased with the service of Babic. Most friendly staff member with good advice and also understood english and gave the proper explanations. So here is my rate:
Roomview: 5/5*
Room 2/5*
Beds: 1/5*
Bathroom: 3/5*( handshower needed to be renewed)
Bathroom view 5/5*
Reception Service: 4/5*
Babic service (guest relation): 5/5*
Breakfast: 3/5*
Dinner: 3/5*
Restaurant manager 5/5*
One day..my daughter found a dead fly in her food that was made in a glass…
Seating was not so clean, so that also needs some attention
So our experience at this hotel was overall good but not up to the standard of a 4 star hotel.

In August 2023 we stayed for 9 nights in the Corissia Princess. We had booked a double room superior with sea view. We got room 402 on the fourth floor, the room was newly renovated. Unfortunately, the room is quite small and the sea view was only partially possible. It is hardly possible to sleep with an open window, as the noise level from the street, cars, partygoers, buses, motorbikes continuous till 4 o’clock in the early morning.
The meals were offered as buffet style at the restaurant of the Corissia Beach hotel, shared among the other Corissia hotels. This an approximate 200 m walk one direction from the Princess. We liked the walk; the hotel also offers a shuttle by golf cart.
Breakfast had a rich selection, including cereals, fruits, cakes etc. The food at dinner was good, we liked the selection of fish. There was sufficient variety in choice. On 3 days there was also a ‘signature dish’, a set plate with meat / fish, vegetables and carb on offer, which we liked, as it offered a change to the buffet. We took one dinner at the Ophelia signature restaurant, which consisted of a 5 course a la carte menu, which was outstanding. On the hind side we should have opted for the Harmony Princess and its restaurant, as we are not so much the buffet goers.
The view from the panorama lounge of the Princess is superior, unfortunately the drinks are more expensive compared to town.
The hotel mentions environmental awareness and climate protection attempts, unfortunately we recognised a lot of plastic packing (coffee milk, plastic coasters for the sweets, water bottles etc.).
During our excursions cross the island, we unfortunately saw various professional waste dump sites, which indicate that waste management is less advanced, thus we would appreciate the general reduction in waste.
If returning to Georgioupolis, we would rather stay at the Harmony, or the newly planned Harmony 2024 sea view.

Georgioupolis is a nice little village with a big heart. The Corissia Princess proved comfortable, easy going and really guest-oriented. The reception/front desk staff is helpful and informative. The barman on the fourth floor patiently willing to supply hot water and ice cubes as wanted, as well as cocktails, and the hard working cleaning staff deserves special mention. Topping it all is the staff at the restaurant/garden who smilingly made you feel welcome and cherished. Thanks for a lovely twelve days, guys. The hotel is on the small side, size-wise and, actually, so are the rooms. The triple room was, however, quite comfortable for two and the balcony was a favourite spot. Good value for money.
One suggestion for possible improvement would be to add simple coffee/tea-making implements. Early mornings on the balcony would have been perfect with a hot cup.

Excellent location, friendly helpful staff, room ideal, food plenty of choice something for everyone. Pick up from airport excellent bottle of water given by driver. On arrival at hotel we had missed dinner so was given food and we were given an upgrade from double room to suite. In room bottle of wine and sweets great touch. Restauranr staff attentive and helpful especially Nikos unfortunately we only had him for a week as he was involved in a car accident hope he gets well soon, My husband loves at least 3 cups of coffee at breakfast as soon as his cup was empty Nikos re-filled it without asking.

What a beautiful hotel in a glorious setting. Staff were wonderful, nothing felt too much trouble and the location could not be better. Georgioupolis is an amazing town and the hotel location on the front of a glorious beach is perfection.

The beach really lovely to swim in and the beds, at both locations are comfy and drink/food service is good. Pool at hotel is small but ideal and the elevated position means you get a great breeze on those hot summer days. Roof top bar is lovely and a great place to spend a quiet evening looking out over the town.

My only observation (in no way a complaint). The rooms are gorgeous and immaculate but we booked the two bedroom family suite because on the hotel website it shows two proper bedrooms with interconnection. With a 19 and 14 year old we had thought proper twin beds and a double perfect and the balcony etc a bonus. However on arrival it was one proper double bed and a sofa bed. It meant we had to split the double into twin and I then shared sofa bed with teen as not big enough to me and hubby and son/daughter couldn’t share. And one bathroom. However the views and balcony were absolutely the best and beds were super compfy. It didn’t ruin anything but if we had know we would have booked two rooms - but even saying that I would have been gutted to give up our views and amazing balcony so we were more than happy to make the compromise. If you get kids it was perfection.

Pick up and drop off at airport was a lovely touch so was the parting gift
Really gem find and we absolutely will be back the staff go above and beyond to make your stay perfect and food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner were lovely, as was discount at the special ala carte restaurants. Thank you for a lovely trip
