Our chalets are situated high, on the edge of a gorge overlooking the Eagle Falls Waterfall and Kammannassie Mountains. It's a romantic setting and ideal for nature lovers. The chalets are fully equipped and self catering. Spectacular views are what make us unique; our units are private and something out of the ordinary. That is what makes us EAGLE FALLS! Our stands are ideal for any type of camping - tents, caravans etc. The views are spectacular and the facilities in excellent condition (warm water showers + flush-able toilets). The stands have electricity and are situated on a grassy terrace. Willow trees provide shade to the campsite. E have a lapa("braai" & "potjie" facilities) and kitchen available to renting for those unpleasant weather conditions. A small restaurant at the Main house provides you with breakfast, light lunches and dinner (on request) Enjoy our cash bar with flat screen TV at the Main House- no excuse to stay at home, you can watch the Rugby/Cricket at Eagle Falls. While watching sport, your family can enjoy our other activities or cool down in the mountain pools. Please note: there is NO cellphone reception on the farm !!!

Campsite was well maintained. Lush green grass and site was well shaded. Staff were welcoming and pleasant. Ablutions could be kept clean on a daily basis. Overall a beautiful place. Would not hesitate to go back.

Despite booking chalets, on arrival we were assigned cabins. Deceptive information and photographs on booking.com, which we brought to the owner's attention but 4 weeks later, nothing has changed. Be careful, if you want a chalet, there are only 2 - they are stunning. If you book a cabin, it does not look like the image you are shown on booking.com Even if your invoice says chalet, the text is ambigous and you will be given a cabin on arrival, which is not a freestanding timber building. Best to phone and make your booking direct and clarify what you are booking. Stunning location, beautiful swimming pools. Pity about the very noisy generator which is on most days 24/7. Loved the couple of nights we spent in chalet 1. Owner not service orientated.

Spent our December holidays at Eagle Falls Country Lodge. Heidi, resort manager, followed up on WhatsApp to find out when we will arrive. Asked if someone can assist us to pitch our tent as we were tired after the long drive from Jhb. From the start whatever we asked the owner and Heidi had no issues to make our stay as much fun as possible. Thank you Michael and Carina. Due to the horse riding, farm dam swimming and boat rowing, swim in the waterfall pool, beautiful sunsets, the Christmas lunch, the Snoek braai, the chats and whiskeys with your fabulous mom Tannie Ria, the New Years bring and braai and dance, the general interest in our 15 year old son, we will be back this year December 2022! Laundry service and pet friendly was important factors for us. Was a good base for us to go on day trips to Mossel Bay, Oudtshoorn, George, Knysna and even Plett. Ablutions are clean but not comfortable but we have a caravan with ablution so did not bother us too much. Warm wishes Charl, Sonja and Charl Jnr.

Eagle Falls would like to apologize for this unfortunate incident. The owners were not aware that this person had a drinking problem and he was asked to leave immediately. Please visit us again. Kind regards

Eagle Falls is a gem of a place where nature is concerned with stunning views. A gold mine of natural beauty and scenes of natural wonder

However the chalets and surrounds are in need of serious maintenance and upgrade. Broken tiles with sharp shards in showers, protruding nails on decking, objects (makeshift roll-up blind holders on decking) placed at heights where numerous of our guests scratched/cut (bleeding) themselves, uncomfortable beds, dirty pots, pans & utensils, no warm water at camping site, no scullery for campers to do their dishes (have to pay extra if they want to use the kitchen) at the camping site, are just a few to mention

3 of our guest booked for horse riding. According to them (only 2 could go) the horses are unkempt (manes needs to be brushed properly - full of knots, no shoes on hooves and protruding nails on 1 of the riders saddle, where she cut her hand when the horse slipped on rocks). To me this is a very sad state of affairs. 3 other guest went on the hike. This is a DANGEROUS hike with no clear markings. Our guests are seasoned hikers and feels that no one should be allowed to go on the hikes, except rock climbers with the necessary equipment

The owner and staff were very friendly, the camping site is in a good state, except for the hot water and scullery situation. The food catered for, for our celebration, was tasty and well prepared

Last but not least. Why must paying clients pay extra for Wi-Fi at the resort? You have a goldmine of a property. Don't let it slide to the point of no return!

So disappointing…units have no cupboards, single beds have bricks as a base and foam rubber mattresses. Had to ask the owner to fix the lights in our room as no globe in the ceiling fitting,
One unit was flooded as our friend went to bed at 9pm….no way of contacting owner. She had to share with another couple which is really not acceptable. When asked for a refund of R750, was only given R350!! Will never return again.

Stunning environment, with beautiful (but challenging) hikes! You can visit caves, waterfalls and you can in the river. The Lodges and chalets are splendid. The staff is lovely, relaxed and caring! Once in a lifetime experience. And if you like, the lovely dog (Peanut) guides you at the hiking, brings you home and sleeps outside your lodge.

This place is like home away from home. Run by warm, friendly people. It has the most magnificent hikes and views, with water falls. Green camp sites with beautiful views. We can also take our fur babies ( dogs) which makes it extra special. Highly recommend.

Stunning pet friendly and grassy campsite with beautiful views and a waterfall about an hour from George in the Western Cape towards Uniondale. Camp was quiet on our visit. Hiking, swimming in pond below falls,, 4 x 4 Trails, cycling etc. Boma area was great as first evening too windy to braai. Central fire pit and indoor braai areas. There is a kitchen for use of groups but this was locked. Farm dogs (3 Jack Russell's) spent the entire weekend with us and our 2 boxers who were on their first camping trip. One JR was a little territorial which might be a problem for some dogs but ours were chilled. Separate bar area with pool table and WiFi available for a small fee. Bathrooms clean but basic. Some sites might be on rhe small side if camp is full. We enjoyed our stay.
