We took our mom for lunch there, was a ready good menu to what you get at these other restaurants in the area. Food was really well price, pure value for one's cash. Food tasted amazing.

Service was great, friendly and well procented. This coming from some one who has worked in 5 star game lodges for 16 years. Well done on a great venue and restaurant. We look forward to coming back.

Please thank all the staff there for us.

We arrived, after a long drive (8o0+KM), during Stage 4 load shedding.
Although there was no power, we were taken safely to our accommodation, which was comfortable and well appointed, and then the team managed to produce a great meal for us under difficult circumstances - thank you. There's an excellent range of beers and wine too.
The same situation maintained for breakfast but again hot food arrived for us.
We loved the dining room!

A place with a very relaxing atmosphere, good for family and friends wanting to spend quality time together. Their breakfast is clean and fresh, never wanna miss it. Their courtesy is outstanding, always putting the interest of their guests first, in all circumstances.

The food was disgusting, during Christmas lunch, the seating was disgusting organized, waste of money . Would not recommend very terrible. Buffet vegetables were over done, portions rationed, flies on the food. Dessert was not enough and drinks were nasty. Hated the experience totally

Stayed here for one night, very good service and a really cozy area to stay in. The food was also really good! Really nice rooms, unfortunately quite bad internet connection on our room. Totally recommend this place.

Good day

I would just like to recommend this establishment to anyone who needs a break. Mandi & Caleb where outstanding hosts. Nothing was ever too much for the. The rooms were excellent and the bed oh so comfy.

Only suggestion I have would be to maybe put some more milk in the rooms as we had enough coffee, tea and sugar for about 2 cups each but only enough milk for one cup.

Thanks again it was awesome.

Nice venue, friendly staff but unexcusable to pay almost R1000 p/night, waking up with only low warm water for a shower/bath with the excuse that to many people used the hot water system ( solar ) at the same time. Sorry guys but this just don't work for me in a highly competetive hospitality market.

Response from Ivan D, Owner at Lanseria Country Estate
Responded 17 Aug 2015
Dear Johan Thank you for your positive feedback. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the venue and the hospitality. At Lanseria Country Estate, our priority is our guests and ensuring that their stay is a pleasant and relaxing experience. We know that it is a competitive market and that service delivery is vital. We are disappointed that you found our water concern problematic, this is not an issue that has been raised by guests before. As a country estate, we pride ourselves on being as eco-friendly as possible. Our solar heaters are equipped with electrical heating elements on a timer, which activates between 5am and 9am, to help ensure that there is hot water available when needed. We welcome comments on how to improve our service, as was mentioned by our duty manager when you raised your concern to us on Sunday as you were leaving. We only wish that you had raised this earlier when you first saw her at 7am, as alternative ablutions could have been provided for you and your group. As per our discussion on Sunday, a thorough investigation has carried out, our geysers and timers checked, and found to be in working order. We did check with the other guests on the estate, and they reported no concerns regarding the lack of hot water. We are not sure why your deluxe unit (at R1030 per couple/per night) was affected, but we are looking into it and finding ways to combat this from happening again. PS: As per our duty manager’s phonecall, the personal items you left behind are waiting for collection.
