My wife and I stayed in the "Coyote" rustic cabin at the end of May. We loved it! The cabin is located right on the waterfront, with a dock to sit on and enjoy the view. Its rustic style and simplicity may not be for everyone, but for us it was incredible. In the kitchen they have plates, cutlery, glasses, pots, and pans. They provided a gas BBQ on our deck. Wood burner was great for when it got a bit cooler and all firewood provided. We just had to bring our own sleeping bags and pillows. Toilet was detached outhouse, which looked brand new and very clean. Notices were posted at the resort about their efforts to keep accommodations COVID19 clean and physical distancing in their office/store. Owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place for a fun getaway!

We just left there today and have booked for the next 2 summers. Our family of 5 (plus a 124lb dog) love it there! The staff are so friendly and have become friends over the last 2 years. We have made new friends each year and are so excited to be going back!

The facilities are always clean with free hot showers and a dishwashing station.

If you have the time, rent a boat and head out to one of the many small islands for a little exploring hike and or some great trout fishing.

The playground has multiple levels, swings, bridges and slides keeping the kids busy for hours and hours.

The lodge has any forgotten items you might need as well as ICE and firewood (when campfires are allowed) The dog park is a short walk and large enough for lots of dogs.

Any issues that come up, all of the staff are all great people who are willing to help out with a smile.

This really is the ultimate family vacation destination in BC. There is a great sense of community all around and meeting multiple families from around BC while camping has been a big highlight for our family.

We are already counting down the days until next summers visit!

We stayed in the WOLF cabin during our stay. It was perfection. A little log home with a fridge/freezer, running hot and cold water and a full stove with oven. It is rustic and functional all at the same time! It has a bathroom with toilet, sink and stand up shower. The floor slopes a little here, but it just adds to the charm. There is a pull out hideabed that is VERY comfortable, a queen bed in a loft (careful on the stairs!!) and a queen bed in a bedroom with a single over double bunkbed. This little cabin is the closest to the water. the deck is large and has a BB and picnic table. Down a set of steps you have your own private dock. The owners are so friendly and really made us feel so welcomed. We fell in love - so much we are booked for the next 2 years before we left! This is a family resort, with quiet time after 10 PM. People are respectful of this and it just adds to the experience sitting on the side of this beauty of a lake watching the fish jump and hearing the loons call out. Highly recommended.

Every year my family and I rent 2 cabins at this wonderful place. It’s so beautiful there and peaceful! The staff there are amazing and do a great job running the place. We had a small issue with the cabin we were in. They handled it quick and fast. Only complaint I could give is the road isn’t that great but eh that’s not their fault at all. The district of Winfield needs to step up and put some money and time on the road. Can’t wait to come back for my 4th year next summer! See you guys next August!!

I have been going to Beaver Lake Resort for over 15 years. This resort is nothing less than beautifully perfect! The cabin (we stayed in cabin #11) was so cute and cozy and the bed was extremely comfortable. Staff are friendly and do a great job keeping this resort clean and well run. This resort has something for everyone. An absolute gem of a resort! I look forward to many more memories made here.
Thank you Adrian and Staff for all you do!
Happy Campers BobbiJo & Jason

Felts Family Reunion 2023 was held at this beautiful rustic cabin resort for the first (definitely not the last!) Time. The resort, lake, staff and weather was fantastic! The Cabins were well stocked with everything one needed to prepare big meals! Duck cabin was family central because of the yard space and fire pit. Staff was very accommodating and allowed us to bring extra tables over. Bathroom in Lynx cabin is very tiny, weirdly laid out and wont fit a large person comfortably. The lake and water activities kept the kids entertained all day! Other than that it was great and we will be back in 2025!

Beaver lake was so fun, the staff was so accommodating and kind, and the views and cabins were amazing. My mom and I went up to Beaver Lake Resort in Lake Country to stay the night with my Aunt in her cabin. However, when we got there the campground was very confusing and we didn't know where to go. I went to the lodge to ask for directions and the front desk lady was very nice and helped me out. This interaction gave me confidence because I know I can advocate for myself and take initiative to figure out where to go. This was a positive interaction because the front desk lady was very nice.

We stayed in the Racoon Cabin. The smell from the bathroom was worrisome and distracting as it wafted in as we tried to enjoy our dinner. The cabin was dusty and my husband who has allergies was having trouble breathing. It was the oldest cabin and definitely worse for wear. When we told the owner he came over and dealt with the "trap" to the septic tank right away. It helped a little bit, but the smell lingered. We left a day early and explained that we weren't comfortable. He charged for the day and said it was basically our problem and there's nothing that can be done.

The other cabin looked nice. I wish we had one of them. I also wish there were some apologies and maybe a little bit of compensation for the stench.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone especially anyone thinking of pulling an RV. We booked Beaver lodge under the impression that it was fairly close to Kelowna as it said minutes away. The drive took us 40 minutes. That was disappointing but not our biggest complaint. Their website also stated "It is an easy drive for campers, trailers and cars." This drive is far from easy. It is up the side of a mountain on a dirt road/billygoat track. My husbands brand new truck over heated twice so we had to pull over. And our brand new trailer bounced around like crazy. Once we finally reached the top and received our campsite number we were disappointed yet again as we would not fit into the site given to us. If we would have tried our trailer would have gotten scratched.
Although the area looked amazingly beautiful, we were very miss lead on the website and no one apologized or tried accommodating us.
I wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone.

we are terribly sorry about the road, the community tries to fix it as good as they can with their limited budget. as much as we would like a better road to our resort it is not in our power to upgrade Beaver Lake road. I contacted the district of Lake Country again and informed them about your complaint. Adrian (owner Beaver Lake Resort)

This quaint little campground/cabin resort was fabulous. The beach and facilities were clean and well managed. We booked 3 cabins and each was well laid out and stocked with what we needed to get dinners ready and enjoy our time. The suite was stocked with everything you would have at home. Ie.bedding, plates, coffeemaker etc. The front staff were great if we had any questions. There was a playground that kept the kids busy after the beach that was huge and clean. There was a petting zoo that the kids loved visiting with our left over fresh veggies. Keep an eye on your kids tho as the animals are small and you don't want them to get dropped while kids are holding them as it is the parent accompanying your own children's responsibility to keep the animals safe. We would definitely return. Great place to vacation!

I would bring children's lifejackets regardless if they supply - just for their own safety due to their differing sizes.

There are very nice/clean showers available - two in each Mens/Ladies washrooms. There was no charge for this. We were there July 21 and we were allowed to use our propane fire bowl. We placed it on the rocky driveway away from our cabin and had chairs around as it got dark.

Yes you can. There is a public launch area where you can put in a kayak or canoe.
