The hotel was great, and we enjoyed our stay. The Spa went out of their way to accommodate us as we couldn't make for our Spa appointment on the agreed upon time and date.

The receptionist seemed to not know what he was doing exactly as we were asked to pay for accommodation upon check out even though we booked via daddy deals and the voucher was attached on our check in form. That was sorted out eventually though I feel the gentlemen at reception should have checked all that and not inconvenience us as we were already running late for our spar treatment. The bed on one of the rooms we booked was a bit small and the aircon was not working properly, however we had a nice and enjoyable stay.

Loved every moment of our stay here! We took their couples winter retreat package and got way more then we expected. They went out of their way to make everything feel luxurious, from staff that are friendly and very helpful to the couples massages, then a candle light dinner with exquisite food and very comfortable accommodation with home made truffles and a special surprise in the room. They will definitely be seeing me again! Great service and a great stay!

"Overall, we had a lovely experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious, making our couples' getaway feel extra special. However, we didn't sleep too well due to other couples being quite loud at night, which affected our rest. Despite that, it was a memorable trip, and we'd consider coming back."

Hi Hendri.

Everything was terrible.

From our Spa treatment duration it was shortened and we were super on time. The foot cleansing ritual actually took for less than 5 minutes whiles on the brochure it was written 30 minutes, our full body was less than 30 minutes also, it was supposed to be for 60 minutes, the hydro therapy was super cold, the bed where my sister slept on broke, she slept uncomfortably. It was cold at night and the air conditioning was blowing cold air when we asked for blankets we were not provided with one they gave us the oil heater that wasn't working.

Breakfast was also terrible, they kept on giving us what we haven't ordered and the bread was stale.

I regret coming there, I'm being honest.
My experience there was just crazy horrible💔😭😡

Everything just took a wrong turn Hendri. I feel like I literally threw my money down to the bin😢

Regards
Kcey.

We started here for one night when returning from Kruger National Park on the way to Johannesburg airport. The room was very well maintained, the bed was firm but comfortable and the bathroom very modern. Quiet at night for a good night's sleep.

The food in the restaurant was very good with quite a large range of dishes. The decor was inviting, including white table cloths, a mantle piece and small chandeliers. The staff were friendly but could do with a little more training, but as the food was so good, it's only a minor complaint.

The gardens are great to relax in and there are two small swimming pools when it's a bit warmer. The spa/beauty clinic on site looks very good although we did not use this.

Very reasonably priced for what you get. We went for dinner, breakfast and lunch included and this was well worth it.

The guest house was beautiful, clean and the staff were extremely helpful, professional, and kind. The rooms were cleaned every day and restocked with soap, clean towels, etc. The facilities were amazing, I used the bar every night and the food was great too. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience with them.

What a terrible establishment. We had arrived late the evening and had to wait outside for someone to come open for us to realise that there is loadshedding. They have a generator but don't switch it on after 10, I mean you are paying them. If there's no electricity there is no running water, how is a guest then supposed to use the bathroom after hours? That is ridiculous. The water was not hot to take a shower. The breakfast the morning was nothing to rave about, they forgot the mushrooms and the coffee was cold. I would definitely not go there again. Do not waste your time or money on this place. It is not worth it.

Booked 2 treatments which should have totalled to 1:30hrs but both were done within 1hour. This is not fair on the customer’s side. More and more beauty therapist are seeking to do less and less for the same charge. It’s not acceptable. As a customer I shouldn’t even need to worry if whether or not the treatment will be done as long as it should.
