The owner Oberita and her Team of Ladies are Professional and Friendly. The Rooms are beautifully furnished and clean. In winter they warm up the room before arrival and in the Mornings there is a cosy crackling fire in the Dining room as early as 07h00. You can relax in the tranquil mature garden. This is my home away from home.

We stayed there for a long weekend and loved it! Fabulous rooms , service and a 5 star breakfast! There is secure and safe parking and we found the rooms to be spacious , fresh flowers in the room and every need catered for. I will recommend to anyone! There is a beautiful garden and it is set in a quiet area.

The guest house has a 4 star rating, which is well deserved, but what really set it apart for me was the 5 star service. Nothing was too much effort for the owners, including arranging a take away meal for me on the night when they don't cook and organising my (extremely delicious) supper on a hot plate in my room when I returned very late from a business meeting. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished, though one or two small details were not right - like the shampoo being empty. Very pleasant to stay in, but what makes this highly recommended is the attention to you, not just the attention to detail.

What a lovely surprise in Queenstown! The rooms were beautiful with stunning old colonial style furniture! The garden has a fairy tale feeling! Just got the feeling the rest of the beautiful house is not to share with guests! had a fantastic breakfast with attention to detail. Were not offered the option of dinner but did find a lovely restaurant close by. Will definitely be back!

We have stayed at Positano many times on our trips from Port Shepstone to Cape Town. I can certainly say its one of the best Guest Houses we have ever stayed in. We loved the spotlessly clean rooms, the breakfast is fan
tastic, just loved wandering around the garden, it is so beautiful winter or summer. We even changed our route from Johannesburg to Cape to ensure at stay. On Monday to Thursday they serve a 5 star dinner - really so good.

Positano was recommended to us by friends and we weren't disappointed. It is a lovely old house in a very quiet neighborhood. Our room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was in the dining room. The tables were set with linen tablecloths and napkins. Very classy. Breakfast was very good. There were two negatives. The first was when some people checked in late at night. They checked into the room next to us and they were standing outside talking and were very noisy. Fortunately, it didn't last long and it was quiet again. The second negative was when we came back from breakfast to pack our bags and check out. We walked into the room and all the linen, including the towels, had been removed and it was only 9:30 am. Checkout is 10:00 am. I wanted to brush my teeth so my husband had to go find the maid to get a towel so we could brush our teeth. Otherwise, I would recommend Positano. The grounds and surroundings are lovely.

Stayed many times over the past 3 years. I worked in Queenstown 2 weeks per month. Tried all restaurants and accomodation. Positano comes out tops. I rate the dinner #1 in Queenstown. If you like quality wines with your meal....this is where you should sleep and dine.

We wanted to sleep over between Jhb and East London to ease the trip with the heat well over 35°C and the road full of cars returning from the December destinations. What a beautiful and tranquil oasis with friendly staff and clean, cool and spacious rooms, tastefully decorated and suported with safe, ample and off-the-street parking! With a great breakfast before you take on the rest of the road the next morning, we will be back to enjoy this oasis during the long track between Gauteng and the Eastern Cape!

I have stayed many times on business and never been disappointed, (except that they are often fully booked) which is always a good sign. The rooms clean and are well equipped. The breakfast is a real farm style traditional breakfast served in a warm an inviting dining area, that makes one feel at home. The hosts I have always found warm and friendly and go the extra mile to help with any extras one could ask for.
